This is not slime and not even as soft as Play Doh, it is a stiff putty and only become pliable if you work it with your hands for a few minutes, WHICH did not happen with our 4 year old. It's colorful and has cute animals to mix in, but you can pull them right out. It is at the bottom of our tub of slime ingredients because it is not easy to work with for adult or child. **Q: Is this Gluten free?** A: All it says on the container is that it is nontoxic silicone putty. No mention of gluten **Q: What country is this made in?** A: This putty is so hard, I have a hard time using it and hiding the charms in there, let alone my five year old grandson. It's been sitting in it's tin since Christmas. **Q: Does the putty need to stay in the tin to keep from drying out?** A: It would harden rather than dry out, and be difficult if not impossible to work with. It is a very dense putty, not slime, that becomes more pliable when warmed by the hands. I think it would become very hard if left out.
