First smart video user
Just got this yesterday so I may update the review. It came 24% charged but it was fully charged in about 3 hours. It comes with a very long mini usb cable and a plug to plug it in so I was able to easily charge it while it was mounted.Took about 15 minutes to get it installed, that included removing my peep hole.High sensitivity so far seems way too high. We had about 3 PIR (motion detection) alerts in a 15 minute period and everytime we checked the footage it appeared to just be the trees out front moving. Fairly easy to setup and pair with your phone. Keep in mind it has to be on a 2ghz router. I had issues at first because I was trying to pair it using my 5ghz signal. Once I switched it paired first shot. After I got it setup and paired with my phone, my wife just had to log in with the account I setup and hers works as well. The manual that comes with it is good about physical setup and software setup but it doesn't do a good job of explaining what the different settings are. It supports a microSD card to store data. I don't see anything about cloud storage even though one of the other reviews say they offer free cloud storage. I'll try to remember and update this in a month and see if I'm still happy with it.After 2 days of use-After switching it to low, I still had 5 false readings. When I watched the video it recorded, I didn't see anything except a bird in the distance. Someone delivered a package from amazon yesterday but you couldn't see their face because they had a hat on. Got them walking up though. Then I had a package delivered today, it went off but no one was on the video and someone rang the doorbell (not the doorbell built into the system but the regular one on my house). The video caught them parking but nothing of the person delivering the package. After a weeks use-Dropping it down to 3 stars. It's a pretty good product but I get between 8-15 false alarms a day and they always seem to occur between about 11am-3pm for some reason. Not sure if it has to do with the lighting during the day or what. And this is still on a low sensitivity setting. I like the device but it doesn't seem to be a good choice for my door because I have 3 small steps coming up to my door so twice now it's caught someone delivering packages but by the time they get into view and 1 second has elapsed, the person has turned their head or bent down to set down the package so if I had needed a clear shot of the person, I wouldn't have one. Down to 55% for the battery after a week of usage.

Update review 10/25/2020
Update review 10/25/2020 : The battery starts to drain quickly within days and does not hold the charge well. I have to recharge twice a week which is very annoying. The camera would disconnected to the wifi by itself on/off and I have to manually add the camera in the app every time it happened. The camera failed to update to new version in the app. It still have a lot of issues to improve. I emailed the company regarding the issue with no respond. Oversall I cannot recommend this product to anyone.#######The unit was super easy to set up. It took me less than 10 minute to get it up and running. I'm satisfied with the performance of the unit however I wish the live images could use some improvement (the images way too bright). It's also a pain to have to manually delete all the photos that stored inside the unit. I think user should be able to delete them all via phone/ app. I give it 5 stars due to the fact that it's very easy to use and I simply use this unit as a security camera for the front porch.

Good but could be better
I purchased this to replace the standard peephole in my apartment door and so that it wouldn't be so noticeable so as to get neighbors upset, thinking I'm spying. My inside apartment door is about 20' from the outside door. The sensor picks up every time someone goes in and out the outside door, but if they are heading up or down the steps to the basement, it doesn't kick in soon enough to get pictures of them. My one concern for getting this is so that if someone goes downstairs and hides down there, it would be on camera. Anyone coming in the outside door does not pick up on camera until they are at least halfway to my door. Once at my door, it is so nice to be able to see clearly who is there. The camera is wide enough that I can see down to about 18" from the floor, so unless the person is really tiny, it would be difficult for them to hide from the camera. During the part of the day when the bright sunshine is at the front door, everything becomes a washed out blur until the person gets away from the outside door and partway back the hall. Adjusting the brightness of the camera does not help. The piece on the outside of the door will definitely be visibly different than anyone else's standard peephole, but you have the option of turning off the doorbell (we already have built-in doorbells) and the light that shows the doorbell. So unless someone is really observant, they should not notice anything unusual. When motion is detected and the camera starts taking pictures, there is no noise or flash or anything noticeable from the outside, so visitors or intruders will not be aware of pictures being taken. My apartment door is magnetic so I put a decoration over the viewer on the inside so that anyone coming into my apartment (i.e., landlord or neighbors) will not see it. I was afraid if the landlord comes in to fix something that they would question it. I have a big wreath on the outside of the door so I hope that will draw attention away from the outside view. I am NOT using it to spy on anyone. I could care less what my neighbors do or how often they go in and out (which is a lot). I just want to be able to see who's on the other side of the door when someone comes or if I hear a commotion in the hallway. The app: The app installed and paired with the viewer device perfectly once I got the viewer in English mode so I could see what I was doing I have an Android Phoenix LG3 phone and it works perfectly. I hear the door go, and in about 5-10 seconds, my cell phone gives me an alert that there was motion detected. However, it takes another 10 seconds or so before the pictures catch up. If at home, you can walk up to the door and press the view button on the device and see actively what's going on outside the door while it's still taking pictures. I was away the other night and got an alert on my phone, so I know it works on mobile data, too. It was annoying at first to have the alarm going off every time someone came in or out and it was loud. Turning down the volume on my phone didn't help the volume. So I went into the app on my phone and muted the volume so that I only get a visible notice. That way when I'm home and there's nothing strange going on, I can wait until the end of the day and review or delete the pictures. I even picked up the paper delivery man at 3:48 a.m. but I turn my phone's wifi and mobile data off at night so I'm not awakened. If someone tried to break in during the night, I'd hear them and the device/app would still get their pictures. There is a doorbell option with several ringtones. You can also talk to the person at your door through the device or the app, but I am choosing not to use that because that would definitely call attention to neighbors that there's something different about my peephole.I contacted the customer service email a few times until I got everything figured out, and they were pretty responsive. I purchased the Square Trade protection plan just in case anything goes wrong with it--which always seems to happen to me right after the Amazon return date expires.I've had it for almost two weeks, and so far I like it. I just wish the distance would pick up a little faster before visitors disappear down the stairs.

AVOID. The network features have been almost useless for me. Device stopped working
Save your money. Avoid. The battery stopped taking a charge after 3 months. When it was working, the network features were almost useless for me. When I tried to remotely view through the camera from my smart phone....the "network" was often "busy" or the device was "off-line" for no reason I could tell. Also, while my mobile was notified of "alerts" when the camera noticed movement, I had no way to access the picture from my mobile phone. While the device checked all the feature boxes...it just didn't work well for me. And now, three months later, it stopped working completely.
