Used for the top of my boat seat boxes so the lid and seat don't just flop open completely. THey're holding up great so far and seem very capable

Put new stainless steel hinges on my ice chest and didn’t want to strip screws out so put them on it. Works great and sturdy!!

Went on easy abs are well made.

I installed these on my Igloo cooler. It came with cheap plastic hinges that didn't last more than a couple of seasons. Ended up replacing the plastic hinges with homemade leather hinges.The cables are well made and install anywhere you want them. Be sure that when you install them you don't put them in the area where the lid seats, and also in a place where they will fold inside and not get trapped in the opening. Overall these are great, will get the job done.

I have a nice Colman xtreme cooler that gets a lot of use. The plastic hinges broke so I found the stainless steel hinges ( also terrific) and replaced the broken ones. In searching for the hinges, I saw these support straps and decided to get them for extra protection and I am glad I did. My cooler did not have any straps so I had to drill the holes and line up both sides equally. It was easy to do and really supports the top from being pushed back to far and damaging the hinges.

Replaced the broken lid straps on my cooler with these and its a huge upgrade. In the future I'm upgrading my cooler straps before they get broken....the hinges would thank you for it!!

So far it's been in good use
