We installed it in the run and it allowed the big hen to get used to the new little ones, making for a seamless flock integration 2 weeks later. The little space under the coop was perfect for a dust bath, and the run part was plenty big enough for the 3 girls, their feeder and waterer. The coop is sturdy and lasted through several storms with no damage and no leaking either. The pull-out floor made for easy cleaning! Once we integrated the littles into the flock, we kept the coop in the run for them to have a place to hide in if they got picked on. I pulled the whole thing out at the beginning of July and am storing it in case we need it in the future.
