I can't remember if I had to attach the pillow, but if so, whatever, it's basically no effort.• It comes neatly folded up and covered in one plastic cover. That's right - the only stuff to discard/recycle is one (thin and reasonably sized) cardboard box and one plastic bag. That's all.• The chair is both lightweight and sturdy.
