This lyre harp is designed for beginners—no complex music theory required. It uses a 10-string pentatonic scale, which is stable in pitch and easy to play. So it’s the great choice for anyone starting with string instruments. **Q: Do I need to buy extra tools for tuning?** A: No extra tools needed! The set already comes with a tuning wrench, and it also supports phone app tuning (Gstrings for Android, InsTuner for Apple)—super easy to use. **Q: Will it crack with long-term use, and do the strings break easily?** A: The harp body is made of AAA solid mahogany resonance box. The material is hard, with stable grain, and has undergone drying treatment—so it won’t crack or deform easily even with long-term use. **Q: How good is the quality of the included gig bag?** A: The included gig bag is a high-density black style, made with wear-resistant and water-resistant fabric. Inside, a soft lining helps cushion minor impacts, block dust, and repel light water splashes—great for everyday protection. **Q: Is this lyre harp suitable for teaching kids music?** A: It’s very suitable for kids! It measures only 15.35×9.45×1.18“ and is lightweight—kids can hold it easily with their small hands without feeling burdened. The pentatonic scale has a harmonious tone, which helps cultivate kids’ music perception. ## Frequently Bought Together - Donner Lyre Harp, 16 Metal Strings, Mahogany Body and Copper Saddle DLH-003 Lyre Harp with Tuning Wrench, Spare String Set, Black Gig Bag, Manual, Ancient Greece Style - A Beginner's Song Booklet for the 16 String Lyre-Harp - The Lyre Handbook: Playing Methods of the Anglo-Saxon Lyre with Directions for Construction --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/427060664-dlh-003-lyre-harp-16-metal-strings-copper-saddle-mahogany](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/427060664-dlh-003-lyre-harp-16-metal-strings-copper-saddle-mahogany) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
