Since they offer a "subscription service", it would seem that they do deteriorate after a while. I wash mine with a gentle soap and let them dry overnight and mine have lasted more than two months now. Keep in mind that a good orthotic insole can cost you ~ $60+... **Q: any latex in these supports?** A: The sleeve is **Q: i wear a 4 and a half, will these fit my foot?** A: Men's? Women's? If it's men's absolutely. If it's women's they should but maybe not as snug. I'm a 6 1/2 with fairly narrow feet and they fit perfect. **Q: What is the thickness of support pad? These are great. They are silicone so they support without constricting, and they are small enough that they don't make your feet sweat. Granted I have only walked around the house, but I keep them on the whole time. Right now I am barefoot on my couch and the way they wrap around my feet feels great. I have worn them for two days and I already notice a difference in the level of pain when I get off the bed in the morning and when I get up from the couch. Make sure to follow the directions on how to put them on.
