Fantastic features and increadible, small powerfull light.
It's a fantastic light. I really love the 2 button switch instead of a tail switch. I think that everyone likes the tail switch type because it looks cool on TV to hold it that way but I've always found it a bit awkward. The beauty of having two switches is that you can set one for medium-high and the other for the flashing setting. The rear switch can be set for any of the power settings and the front switch can be set for flashing or SOS. Just hold either for a second or so to turn on and then same for turning it off. It will remember the last setting used on both so make sure to return to the one you want before you turn it off. It's increadible bright and small. I have not yet used the plug in USB charging of the battery as I have a charger that works well. When I do, I'll try to report on how the 2 ways compare. The reason I set mine on medium high is that on high it burns batteries fast for 1.5 minutes then drops to medium high to keep cool. If 650 lumens isn't enough it's just a button press to 1000 lumens. The strobe is automatically set to 1000 lumens.I hope this helps someone.

Stellar light
Powerful, portable, reliable. If you are looking for a home/adventure light, this is exactly what you want. The dual button system takes 5 minutes to get acquainted with but then is perfect. Don't over think that feature. Some people say they can't find the side buttons in the dark. Well, I turned the pocket clip so that it points to the buttons. Voila! Now you can find the buttons in the dark. For the sake of showing that I have some reference for saying this is a good light, let me say that I also have a few streamlights, a pd35 a pd32 an e20 and an e12. I believe this light is as good as any of them and is smaller than the pd35, pd32 and e20.

BRIGHT. TRULLY 1000+ Lumens
Will give 5 stars for brightness..quality. Ive ALWAYS wanted a fenix! Ive owned almost every brand and model.. Many many that say 1000 1500 lumens that were not. This is. I do wish I would of paid few extra dollars for the other model that charges directly from flashlight instead of taking battery out but it isnt a deal breaker. And only thing I don't like is that its almost impossible to find switches in dark! They need raised or a inverted "dimple" molded onto rubber. A belt clip would be nice as I could line it up with power switch..

My second Fenix! Perfect for late night dog walks
I bought the little Fenix E12 (130 lumen) for evening dog walks. It was just bright enough to be able to see in a city neighborhood, and small enough to fit in a pocket. Then we moved to the 'burbs. and realized there were skunks. Everywhere. By the time they were in range of the little flashlight, we were also close enough to be "in range" of their spray. Time to upgrade. Now we can see them from a safe distance and avoid. Unfortunately the skunks aren't afraid of the bright light or strobe. Love the rechargeable battery, too.

Great light, no clip or sheath no 5star
The light itself is a great tool. But...know that it does not come with a clip or sheath, something I would of expected for a light like this. I prefer my tools stay put not moving around in my pocket. So it sits in my storage drawer. I take responsibility for that mistake and should of read what’s included prior to purchasing, had I caught it, I would not have purchased.

Side button confusion
Agree with those who find the two side-buttons a bit difficult. Always hitting the wrong button and getting strobe when I didn't want it. Takes a while to find it sometimes too. Carry in a bag and have had it accidentally light by getting bumped around. Used to have a UC35 until it got lost - the tail button was a lot more convenient.

Great Flashlight love that it takes 18650 battery, bright, reliable.
This is my third Fenix flashlight. I have a uc35 which is longer with the tactical switch in the back, an ld50 with 2 18650 batteries, and i just got the e35ue. While I miss the tactical switch its nice that it is shorter and the strobe function has its own button. Smallest light you can fit the 18650 battery in I think so you get long battery life. Love the light gave it as a gift to Mom. Nice price too for the included battery, and i plan to swap it with a 3500mah battery to further extend life.

Fantastic light!
VERY bright - especially for its size. I really don't care about the USB chargeable battery as I have a much better charger for the 18650 batteries (I use them in all my lights). The locking feature is very handy as I carry this light in my pocket and do not wish to have it inadvertently turned on. I miss the tail cap switch, but that would defeat the idea of the locking feature. This light fits perfectly into the "magazine" pocket of my 5.11 pants!
