FindingKing 36 Black Foam Gem Jars Travel Case Display Tray Insert

If you're looking for something high quality, look further. However, if you're looking for something economic this works fine. The tray is textured plastic, which I personally prefer over the leatherette most other cheap trays are and makes it light weight. The bottom of the tray arrived with a big crack from the center spanning 2/3rds of it, probably because it shipped in an envelope instead of a box, but the foam insert covers it and keeps all the jars in place, so it doesn't actually effect the tray's function or performance. I still docked a star for it, but I knew what I was buying at this price point and it doesn't actually effect it. The bottom of the tray has little feet so it still sits flat even with the crack.The foam insert around the jars is perfectly fitted to them and the tray. It's covered in a flocked layer on top. The flocking isn't soft to the touch, but it makes it appear nice and doesn't shed much. The foam inserts in the jars totally fill them and have the same flocking, although I've noticed some flocking debris coming loose and needing to be wiped off the jar lids. I personally bought this to store and label crystal jewelry so I knew which stones were which, so I cut the foam inserts in half to make them less thick to fit things like my rings and that works very well. Statement rings obviously don't fit, but there's plenty of room for your standard ring, small earrings, or small necklaces.The jars are plastic with pull top lids, which are required to keep their contents from scratching or getting scratched. Most of the jars arrived with small visual imperfections such as scratches, but since I'm already putting clear labels on them it doesn't bother me.If you are buying this to have a nice display to show somebody, I would recommend moving up your price point, or expecting such issues at this one. However, if you are buying it to organize or display for yourself like I did, then none of these issues (to me) outweigh the price. Looking at it down on a table it still looks plenty nice as well. I am happy with my purchase because I knew what I was likely buying and needed. Hopefully now you do too.

The foam is very springy and the cases do not want to stay seated. Also the lids do not fit well and come off easily.

The gem jars are exactly what I was looking for. Good quality. Will purchase again.
