Controls on the headset themselves and the included base station are excellent. Battery easily lasts 2 days of full usage, and with the included second battery for quick swap means permanent uptime, though they can be a little bit awkward to swap due to the magnetic side panels. The wireless range is fairly good, about standard wireless pairs in this market, Can reach the otherside of my home with thick old walls, but don't rely on it reaching outside. Sound quality: 8/10 I don't have an exceptionally highly-trained ear, but they sound really nice. And this is a wireless headset remember. However, I would say they need EQing in order to sound proper good. Mic: 5/10 The mic sound quality is perfectly serviceable. It's not a Blue Yeti or anything, but with a bit of EQ, it sounds decent. It allows a range of settings, including AI noise reduction that works nicely. The mic can be seamlessly retracted into the headset to turn the Nova Pro Wireless into a pair of headphones, which adds to the versatility of the headset for travel or office use. It also has a mute indicator light on the mic, so you can easily see when you are and aren't muted. In addition, the headset allows adjustable "sidetone", allowing you to get a little bit of your own voice in your ears, which is nice. Noise cancelling: 4/10 It works. **Q: Does it have 7.1 surround sound option?**
A: There is a surround option if you are using them on pc not sure if it's 7.1 though. On Xbox you can use Atmos or DTS-X if you buy the apps. On Playstation they are fully compatible with Sony's Pulse 3D sound system.

**Q: Does the mic work even when its not pulled out or do we have to pull it out if we're trying to talk on a call or in chat?**
A: Does it work.. yes but its not very good (i havent heard the quality but have seen the mic activate in game). It is designed to be pulled out when you want to use it. Its more of a storage place for it to go when its not in use so its out the way

Sound is superb and with the 2 batteries you never lose power as one is always on charge, easy to change batteries, the dock has a lot of features including a footsteps sound mode for games like cod, extremely comfortable on ,very soft leather you can wear them for hours no problem at all, the mic is very good and its handy it pushes up into headphones when not in use,I dont have any negatives to say about these, a bit pricey yes but we'll built and feel premium
