Works in a Survival Tin
Fits in my emergency tin. Will fit flat, and will (barely) fit upright in an Altoids tin, so long as you place it at the front opposite the hinges. I'm using a similar but slightly larger tin. It's just big enough to be useful. Anything smaller would be unwieldy and anything larger wouldn't fit. Quite thin. Sharp blade, quality handle. Light weight.

Lovely keychain knife
Slim and sharp. It's nice to have with your keys. Too bad my locking mechanism broke within a few months.

Very good keychain knife with a couple of quirks
This is a very sturdy little knife. It is just about too big to fit comfortably on a keychain in my opinion, but just squeaks under the weight and size limit for me. It is quite a nicely machined little piece of kit, but the design is slightly subpar in a couple of areas. Overall I like the knife and would buy it again, as it is sturdy and functional enough to be a real working knife, though obviously on the very small side. Some pluses and minuses follow.Pros:+ What appears to be decent quality steel in the blade and handle; this is not a toy+ Decent enough edge upon opening the package, though it can usefully be sharpened a bit more+ Locking mechanism protects one's hands+ The joint is nice and tight, with little to no play in any direction in the opened position; tightness means knife is extremely unlikely to open on one's keychain+ The "SOG" cutout on one side of the handle reduces weight a bit (why not on the other side, though?)+ No clip to make the handle thicker and heavier+ Hole allows easy securing to a keychain, or even for lashing to a pole as a small spearhead (this might be reaching a bit)+ Satin finish is quite nice aestheticallyCons:- Locking mechanism is a bit tough to work in open position, to close the knife- A bit on the heavy side for the size- Though I can deal with the cheesy "SOG" on one half of the handle, one wonders why it's not on the other side; carveouts on the other half of the handle would also usefully lighten the weight a bit more

Good addition to my collection
Pros:Small enough to fit easily in your pocket or small emergency kit in your car. Lockback is firm and keeps the blade in place when using it. Clip point makes piercing easy (as in when opening one of those irritating hard plastic clam shell items).Cons:Small, as in very small (you won't do much bushcrafting with it), and it didn't come sharp. That may not be a problem for experienced knife sharpeners. For some reason, I have a problem getting small blades sharp.Overall, a good value.

Quality Control Fail
Locking mechanism broke within two months. Knife was barely used and now its completely useless.

Very Small knife with limited uses
I find the knife a bit too small for my liking. But for a woman to keep in her purse or a small glove compartment emergency knife it will work. The quality is great for what it is. Kind of hard to open and close though.

Best pocket knife I've ever owned
I've owned many pocket knives over the years and am always on the lookout for something better. The SOG Micron 2 is by far my favorite. Its folded length is about 3", which is about the same length as a key or a key fob, so it doen't add a lot of bulk to your keychain. Also it's only about .2" thick. SOG makes some serious, nice looking products and this is no exception. I own both the black and the bead blasted versions. I like the looks of the bead blasted one better, however they're both nice looking.
