This is a well made book and a big bang for the buck!! Combination that is hard to find these days. It has a close to exhaustive notation guide and, as a 55 yr old, the wide is key. I am a performing drummer since six grade and I am finally learning saxophone. As a life long musician I know this is a great product. Don’t worry about the one star review that said the paper is see through thin, it is not. They also complained about how hard bound it is. It is well bound and you will have to make it lay flat but I am sure if it were not that person would say it was cheep and would fall apart. Some people just have to complain lol. For the price of a gallon of milk I have something that will benefit and enrich my life for years. What more do you want?

I received the product as advertised, though the book was bent and damaged at some point during delivery. See picture. Will change my review to 4 stars if I manage to get it flattened out.

This is an amazing book for new music writers. Many staff pages, music symbols (and how to draw them), plus note placement. Would recommend.

Great idea, when listening to music to write it out. You don't waste paper and erasers. When I get it right on the whiteboard, then I put it on paper. Emma at MINT NY answers very quickly if there is a problem and makes it right!
