Machine washed and dried, It did shrink 2" in length, width not effected, I was expecting some version of white, but this is plainly ecru. I planned to do a small table cloth with a crewel embroidery design. I think it can still work as the colors I'm using will be quite muted. It's a good weight, feels sturdy not really much stretch. Probably should have zigzagged the edges before laundering to stop so much fraying in the wash. I will continue with my plans but change to a table runner instead. Overall I'm ok with this fabric just wanted a white color.
