Very easy to snap on footrest and canopy (front is labeled). I have only used in the back-laying position- my daughter is 2 months old. She loves it and tends just to drift off to sleep. It makes swimming possible for me with my older son. The canopy has SPF protection and covers well. The safety system consists of a thick Velcro band around the body and a snap harness over the arms and through the legs with a cover for added safety. Love that it comes with a mesh bag for transporting and is easy to unassemble. She is a 10 lb baby with a great fit and her feet reach the footrest with no apparent discomfort. I would recommend!
