After vacuuming algae to waste output, refilling fiberglass pool with softened (not well) water adjusting ph and alkalinity used 2 bags of shock. Ran for 2 hours, added 1 bag, ran for about 8 hours, added 1 bag and water is fairly clear, best opening in years overnight. Did add starrup liquid algaecide with first shock dose, and calcium for hardness after the 3rd bag.
