A beautiful dress!
I wish I had taken a better picture. This dress is remarkable for the price. I wear a 2X but ordered a 3X just to make sure it would fit. It was a little big and a 2X would have fit fine. The material is very good quality as is the stitching. I received so many compliments at the convention I attended that I am planning on wearing it to a gothic wedding in the fall. The bottom has enough material to wear a hoop underneath. Does not need a petticoat and is not see through. Buy with confidence ;)

LOVE this dress!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! I weigh 187 lbs and am 5'7". I ordered an XXL and it was just a tad too big in the chest area. The material is a very light weight crushed velvet type material. It is not heavy at all. It is floor length but doesn't drag on the floor. The color is very vibrant and was a perfect match with the crown that I purchased separately. It is very flattering!Very pleased!!!

Finally got a medieval/renaissance dress I like
First of all, I love it. It's beautiful, comfortable and actually way better quality than I was expecting. Bigger chested ladies beware. I'm a 44C and the corset-y part is on the edge of being too small to cover my chest the way it's shown in the pictures. I was able to loosen it to fit better. Although the little piece of fabric above the corset-y part seemed a bit too lose at the same time. The silky middle part was really wrinkly right out the package, so expect to have to iron it. My measurements are 49, 43, 52 and I normally get plus size 2X and can fit into a 1X if I will it enough. I got the XXXL because I didn't want to risk it and, while I think I probably could have sized down, I'm still glad I got the 3XL. I'm also 5'9" and the dress grazes the floor nicely. The sleeves are probably my favorite part (the hood being right behind it), they're so elegant and absolutely gigantic. I think I have fairly short arms for my height and they completely cover my hands. Also it's very warm so it would get a little stuffy in there if you're planning to go to a summer faire or anything. I'm using it for Halloween however (and also just to wear when I'm feeling extra).

Quality dress
Beautiful dress. It was actually much higher quality than I had expected. Very thick heavy material. It was perfect for my needs. It does run large, I should have ordered a size smaller.

Fantastic quality, comfortable, perfect for petite people!
This was such a beautiful costume. It was high quality and fit perfect. The measurements were a little off; I am 5'1" and shoulder to ground I measure 51". The dress measurements indicated that it would be 58-59"... so I was prepared to hem the dress drastically to fit. When I put it on, it touched the floor but didn't need any alterations. I do have the chest sitting a little higher than normal, but it fit in the shoulders and everything just perfectly. I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised! The arms were a bit long, but it didn't look ridiculous. I was very pleased!

Good DIY starter dress.
I order the dress on Friday got it on Monday. Close to the picture but not exactly. Missing the gold emboss on the sides of the gown. No one called me for my size... However I got XXL. The dress material is ok, but it is not lined you will have to do that yourself and adjust your sleeves length and lace. Plenty of dress length for a tool to fill out the dress. You have to pull the dress over your head to put it on. My complaint about the dress is the hidden six inch zipper on the right side which made no sense. It's not in a position that makes pulling the dress over your head to put it on any easier. All in all the dress is a DIY good starter dress, that you will have to do some personal touches to to make it your perfect fit.

Great dress!!! But a bit short
Beautifully made, good thick velvet fabric. Looks exactly like the picture EXCEPT that it is quite short. I am 5ft2" and a size US 4-6 in dresses -- The Medium hits at barely my ankles, no train.I think one could easily put a black satin maxi skirt under it or something to make it full length and get back the elegance of a full, sweeping gown though. Great purchase!Fashion tip: the ties should frame your bust line, not constrain it! Unlace the top 2 rungs on the front then restring it on the bottom 2-3 and it's way cuter, like the photo. 😉
