About a year ago, one of my coworkers (both of us were railcar inspectors) bought a pair of Lazer Face glasses and absolutely loved them. He was always swapping arms, lenses and nose pieces. Before long he had like 5 different complete sets. We use to mess with him for wearing ‘ski goggles’. One day he had me try a pair on and I was very impressed with the feel, weight, and coverage. But not enough to get a pair. Fast forward, I went back to construction and back to being outdoors for 80% of the day. My previous pair of tinted nemesis were due for retirement. My family and I were also heading out for a lake vacation. I didn’t want to take a chance of loosing my Polarized Ray-Bans to the gods, nor did I want to wear non-polarized sunglasses on the water. So I decided to finally get some Lazer Faces. I wish I would have done this sooner. These are shockingly light, super comfortable, and look great! I would definitely say that the lens quality is on par with my Ray-Ban oversized aviators. I was hesitant (about half an hour before writing this review) and not completely sold on the polarization. It seemed nonexistent until I actually got in the sun. Now I am completely sold. The subdued American flag on the arms of these SOCOM’s is stunning. I can’t get over how lightweight these feel on my face for the size and coverage. These are super versatile and I am genuinely looking forward to wearing these to work. I thought it was crazy to drop this amount of money on safety glasses. But I know it will make me more aware of what I am doing with them and force me to take better care of them too.
