M9C Pro Android TV Box 6.0 4K Amlogic S905X Chipset-Quad Core [1G/8G] Support Ultra-Fast Smart TV Box

The media could not be loaded. After having a great experience with Android box in pursuit of cable cutting my immediate family each liked it so much that they decided to no longer pay for the cable and instead just keep the internet and use the android box for watching TV, Movies, etc. With android TV not only the dumb TVs are turned to a very sexy smart TV but also all the apps from google play store all of a sudden become available. This means you can download all the apps that allow you to watch your favorite movies with subscription and non-subscription whether it's Amazon Prime videos, Netflix, hulu, Youtube, or even KODI which has a lot of the contents.Also since it's the box is using Android you can use the browsing and and stream with the browser all you have to so is to install a browser that blocks ads and you are good to go. As for the operating system, it comes with Android 6 which means you have the ability to multitask and swtich between apps without closing them and restarting from the beginning when you are going back to them, unless you actually close the app. The box can provide up to 4K as my TV recognize the 4K input.Don't forget to go to the setting and turn on HDMI CEC and playback setting so you can turn the TV on and off when you trun ON/Off the device and if your TV has the capability it can be controlled via the HDMI. I also was able to successfully connect my gamepad and air mouse to the box so I can have a pointer and move it on the screen by moving my hand.I like that the manufacture didn't put a lot of bloatware on this device so you can pick the apps that you want to install and don't have to deal with manufacture apps. Overall, it's a great box and does everything you need for turning you TV to a smart TV and cut the cable if you choose to.

It's stopped working after a couple of month. It doesn't work to watch Netflix anymore since the last Netflix update.Dejó de funcionar bien después de un par de meses. Recientemente Netflix actualizó sus aplicaciones para los diversos dispositivos y ya no se puede ver en éste tipo de equipos.

Overall this is a good value for the price, below $37. It’s however not suited for the novice, because it requires the installation of whatever apps or media software desired. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but be warned if you are not willing to install the apps desired then this is not for you. Here are some positives and negatives with the device.Negatives:1. AS mentioned before, no apps are installed, no Kodi, NetFlix, etc. This is also a positive depending on your needs.2. Manual has very little information, so you will have to check online if additional help is needed.3. Unit has AV port but no AV cable, so if you are looking to connect to an older type TV without HDMI, you will have to buy the cable separately.Positives:1. Since there are no apps installed you get to choose what’s placed on the box, instead of having outdated apps or nonfunctional apps previously installed and clogging up the storage space. Some Kodi add-ons become non-functional after a month so TV boxes with preinstalled bundles always have some components not working.2. Unit was able to connect to a 4K TV and play 4K movies from USB drive3. Unit played HDR content and TV recognized it as HDR, HDR ability is not often times available on most TV boxes including the more expensive ones.

Packaged in sturdy box with detailed specifications printed on the back. HDMI and power cable in box with remote control that requires two (2) AAA 1.5 volt alkaline or better 1.5 volt lithium. Paperwork in such small font size difficult to read. Missing user instructions. China vendors need to understand they must supply easy to read instructions with large fonts. The box functioned almost equal to the two major players without mentioning A or A. I was able to open my Netflix account and browse easily. There are euro adult available to those interested. The remote control was medium functioning and not top class with fresh USA Bunny batteries. My suggestion is this is a good choice for someone who does not have cable TV and would like to have many of the really good shows and channels for free.

Arrived on time in good working order. A little slow for searching kodi. Seems to think a little longer than my old android boxes to find streams. I would have expected it would be faster as it is a 6 rather than a 4.4 but it is all about the ram and not the operating system. There is no way I would try 3D or 4k or gaming on this cheap box but it works for our needs and we can get all formats and coding to watch the content we want. I ordered two and it was a good value. I think I might get a better one for the main room and use these in the bedroom and den.

The HDMI cable of one of the boxes is spoilt (some pins are broken) and therefore does not work. And it did not come in the packaging box. Am not sure if it was second hand. I would like to return but unfortunately am in Kenya. It does not make economic sense to return it

The media could not be loaded. Everything worked out really well as I set the M9C up. I was able to connect this to my TV with the included HDMI cable and navigate the Web, my email and many other things. I did connect a wireless mouse which allowed me to move around a bit faster. The included remote worked well and has a mouse function so you can get up and running without buying anything else. The playstore is available which allows you to add any Android app you like. It has 8 GB memory but also has a Micro SD card slot so you can and much more if needed. As you can see at the end of my video it is working well and will get you going for a very reasonable price.Hope this helped GrandpaJake
