MineTan Absolute X20 Self Tan Foam - Ultra Dark Sunless Tanning Mousse With X20 Quad Bronzers, 1 Hour Express Tan, 6.7 fl oz

I've used alot, and I mean like 20+ self Tanner's from lotions to gels, sprays, foam, and for awhile religiously self-tanned at local salon. I heard about mine tan for awhile, but never tried until yesterday. It went on fabulously (I wear nitrile gloves with a microfiber tanning mitt on each hand, plus use the back applicator to evenly distribute foam.) As long as you exfoliate prior to, and shave, etc there should be no issues. This formula leaves skin soft and beautiful, and the smell is decent, not super overwhelming but you normally leave on for only 3 hrs then gently shower it all off. Very happy with my color and will be using 2x a week and trying some of Minetan's darker colors. Word of advice: make sure you moisturize your elbows, knees, ankles, wrists, and avoid putting much on tops of feet or in between fingers/toes to avoid dark patches.

I usually use the Norvell Venetian mousse for my pale skin. It is my absolute favorite, but after I saw this was $10 I decided to give it a try. The color guide when it goes on was the exact same. It dried quickly. The DHA smell was way less which was a MAJOR plus for me. The first hour, I could barely smell a thing. I left it on for the full 3 hours to get the deepest tan. After I rinsed it off there was a little smell still, but nothing overpowering still so I loved that. I went to bed then and when I got up in the morning the color was not near as dark as my Norvell. If it were as dark as my Norvell I would honestly keep using this over that one, but since it is darker I will continue using my normal.

I’ve been using the Absolute x20 for about a year now and I LOVE it! It goes on ashy/green so don’t be afraid, and the end color is beautiful! I have been through so many other self tanners and haven’t stuck with one this long. Like any other self tanner, shower and exfoliate first, and apply unscented lotion to your ankles, wrists, hands, and elbows. Once you start applying the mousse, the only thing you need to do for best results is work quickly with your mitt!

I have tried SO many self tanners on the market. Prior to MineTan my go to was St. Tropez, however I hate all the added fragrance in their products. From MineTan I’ve tried the Purple and Gray bottles. This one is my fav from the brand so far! The DHA smell is almost non-existant and it doesn’t seem to have detectable added fragrance! The color guard is green which helps to counteract the orange tan. It feels a little sticky on the skin and takes about 10 min to dry down. First day results aren’t super dark but you can build it up over several days. I bought this for $12 on Amazon but honestly would pay the retail price of $35 bc I love it that much. I’m debating throwing out all of my other self tanners.

This tan is ok if you have really light skin and want to go one shade darker but it by no means makes you dark. For me, if I'm spending the time to put tan on my whole body, I want to be substantially darker after one application. This just isn't that.On the upside, it has a gray/ silver base so there's absolutely no orange to it. And no bad smell. It does seem to last through your first shower. I typically put it on after my shower and wear it till the next day before showering again. But it doesn't all come off in there shower. I'm sure if you slathered it on a few days in a row, you would see more of a difference. I just prefer a self tan that gives drastic results after one application.

Likes :Beautiful color when developed. (The color tint/guide in product seems like “dirty ash” tan of which may be deceiving to some users. Actual developed results vary on your skin tone and moisture. Some self tanners that are not specific to facial application I have used with no troubles on my face but again would use this repeatedly for my body tan!!

When I first bought this product, I used it how they say to on the bottle. It is an hour express tan, but I've found that is not enough time. I now leave mine on for about 8 hours, or overnight, and then rinse in the am. It ends up looking really good and really tan. A huge difference than just leaving it on for an hour. It stays on pretty well, even when showering the next next day. This is a cheaper option as opposed to $40 tan so I think I'll keep using it.

I originally bought the coffee one in this brand. And I LOVED it. So I thought why not try to go darker... so I bought this one... I can’t even tell I have it on. It’s a waste. I’d much rather buy the coffee than this one. I definitely wasted my money on it. I would take it back if I could.

My friend purchased this tan but a different shade, I used it as an emergency one evening and loved it!Purchased this one online expecting the product to be the same but a different shade, it glided on too runny causing streak lines that I had to keep going over with more tan that ended up pulling most of my tan off.Ended up VERY dark with the guide coat on, once waking up the following morning I looked like I hadn’t tanned and after showering I looked equally as pale as I did before.Disappointed!

I found that this tan did not take very well. I have tried multiple times, first time 2 hours and second time 4 hours. Both occasions I had a slight tan for 12-24 hours then completely wore off.I tan all the time and carried out my usual routine, shaving and exfoliating 24-48 hours before, and this just didnt last.It was worth a try so I know, but I wont be buying again and will stick to other express tans which take better to my skin.

I guess for a cheap tan it’s ok however the colour it applys with is very green and muddy. The tan does come out a nice colour but i would say it compares to medium/dark of bondi sands and doesn’t really last that well. I left it on over night to achieve the colour i got but i would just suggest paying a bit more money for a better one.

I always wear mine tan, love it but for some reason this was grey/green when applied and even after I showered it off my skin stayed like it!

I had heard really good things about this tan so thought I would give it a go...what a disappointment, not dark at all and leaves you feeling tacky won’t be purchasing again.
