The Lola Levine books are my daughter’s favorite. She’s read them out of order, but that hasn’t mattered — she’s especially a fan of Lola’s personality, identity as a part of multiple cultural/racial groups, and her interactions with family and at school. Great books!

Great book in this series. My daughter loves Lola and her family, she feels identified with her as a bilingual child with parents that encourage her to do what she feels, not trying to fit into a determine role. As with the other Lola's books, her family finds a way to support her through the sad episodes of an 8 year old kid. Even though we finished reading all the books, my daughter loves to re-read them!
