iPhone 6S Case, Terrapin [Extra Slim Fit] Hybrid Rubberized Protective Hard Case for iPhone 6 / 6S (Solid Purple)

The case is super slim, which I love, however mine cracked and got all scratched up after about 3 months. I think the cracking was because I kept popping it on and off, which wears down the plastic - so don't do that. I got a second one and am having much better luck with it.UPDATE – I bought a second one of these and it wore out after about 5 months. The corners cracked and broke off. I still really like the case, especially for the price, so I went ahead and I bought a third one. The latest one is a slightly different color purple than before – it's much more vibrant and has a slight sparkle to it, which I love. If this one cracks and breaks in under 6 months, I doubt I will buy another one though.

This case was what I was looking for - something slim, to be able to actually hold my phone, and something cheap, to match my frugality. This case was perfect in these regards for the 7 months it lasted. I quite liked the matte feel, as I could find it more easily in bottomless bags, and the fit was good. The size of the openings were appropriate, and provided protection at a minimal size. I'm not quite sure what caused it to start cracking; while I am not intentionally careless with my phone, I also am not worried enough to buy any military-grade case, so I very much could have been at the root of the cracking. Nonetheless, I am happy the case held on for these months.

Fits perfectly and I really like the sort of rubberized feel though it is not rubber. Much better grip on my phone than one of the slick ones. I had the iPhone 5 which was smaller and fatter than this phone and was much easier to grip. I was having trouble gripping my phone and this helped a lot. Does not interfere with my dock. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it does not cover the top part of the phone and I see no reason why they wouldn't manufacture it to do so. There are no buttons, plugs or anything at all that need to be accessed on top. Does not make sense to me. But I am satisfied with this cover and how thin it is.

Love the look and feel of this case. It's very thin yet protective so doesn't add wright or size to the phone and offers access to all ports. After about 5 months or so I noticed a chip out of the case along the top ans a crack. That has now become 2 chips out of the case so the case must have done it's job by protecting the phone during a drop. I wish the case it's self hadn't suffered but it's hard to complain when the phone looks to be unblemished. Be sure to put some sort of screen protector on too, while this does probably create a slight lip for the screen it isn't much. Really can't beat it for the price.

Despite it being ultra slim it did a wonderful job protecting my phone from breaking when I dropped it down two cement steps. However the case it self did not survive the fall so I had to order a new case. Considering that it is not as bulky as an otterbox I was satisfied with the amount of protection it provided. I am taking a star away because I wished it would of been build with stronger material.

Very slim, but hard case. Love the color and the texture. Not slippery, but not rubbery like some that attract lint and become dirty looking. I wish it were slightly larger for more protection on top and bottom, but does the trick for fairly minimal protection. Probably sufficient if you have a screen protector on too, as long as you aren't too rough on your phone!

I really like the way this cover fits, a much sleeker look than bulky cases. It's a bit risky for me because I do tend to drop my phone. To use this cover worry-free, you must not be accident prone, I imagine! The color (purple) is not as bright as the picture looks.

The corners of the case seem to crack quickly and eventually a piece will break off (usually near the camera). This has happened with 2 iPhone 6 cases we've purchased. However, we also have the same case for the iPhone 6 plus and have not experienced any problems (no cracking or noticeable wear). So for $6-$7, you can't beat the thin profile, look, and feel of these cases.
