I love this grill! I made steaks literally for the first time ever with it and they turned out perfect! I also grilled some asparagus and shrimp too that also came out great. It was so easy to use and the smoke was minimal. I saw a lot of people in the reviews complaining the drip pan is hard to clean and that things burn and crust up on it but they clearly aren’t reading the manual because you’re supposed to put water in the drip pan. That’s what helps it from being too smoky and it prevents sticking. I had no problems at all cleaning the drip pan when I put water in to the fill line. Took like two seconds to wash and nothing was crusted or baked on it. The grill itself is really easy to clean too. Everything slides right off of it it’s awesome. Just be sure that you only use plastic or silicon high temp proof utensils and not metal to help the non stick coating last longer. I also love how big the grill surface is. It’s huge! I had two giant steaks cooking but could have fit in another two of the same size. This grill had the big grilling surface I could find (grill with a lid anyways). I like the lid a lot. It helps keep in the splatter. While I was looking for an indoor grill almost all of them didn’t include a lid for some dumb reason and having the lid was important to me. This grill checks all the boxes I was looking for. I can’t wait to have friends over and grill hamburgers and hot dogs for them this summer. I highly recommend this grill! You won’t be disappointed. If I have any problems I will be sure to update my review but for now I’m very happy with it. It’s probably the best thing I’ve bought from amazon in a while.

This is a great electric indoor grill, truly no complaints. Mostly I use it to grill fresh chicken tenders (2 lbs fits perfectly). I preheat the grill for about 3-5 minutes at 350° while seasoning both sides of the chicken. Then I place the chicken on the lightly greased grill (I use Pam spray but you can brush on any oil or spray of your choice) and cover with the lid for approximately 3-4 minutes lift lid with hot pad and use tongs to flip, then cover with lid and grill for approximately 3-4 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°. Next remove chicken and place it on a large plate with a lid from a large pot to rest and unplug/turn off the grill and carefully hand wash it. It is really easy to hand wash while it's hot. Make sure to dry each piece as you wash it to prevent any unnecessary rust, It takes less then 5 minutes to wash and dry. Now that the chicken is rested feel free to cut it and enjoy or store it in the fridge. I love having grilled chicken ready in the fridge so I can easily make salads, casseroles, pizzas, tacos, etc- anytime! Burgers also grill great and you don't need to use the lid so one less thing to wash! I bought an opened box at a discounted price saying it may have a minor flaw but it was perfect, it only had a small scratch on the outer plastic which doesn't affect the performance so I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Truth is, nothing will replace your outdoor bbq. This indoor grill is probably the next best thing. I prefer it over the clam-shell George Forman style grills since the fats can drip off. It give good char marks for electric. I seasoned mine before use and it clean up really quickly. Like most electric grills, it’s difficult to keep a really high temp and this unit keeps true to that in my experience. So far have grilled fish, sausage, steak, and burgers. It will still steam and produce some smoke, especially if you have marinades that get caught in the grill grate when they burn off. That said, smoke control with water pan is much better than any other indoor grill I’ve used and no smoke alarms have gone off yet. The heating coils are built directly into the grate, it’s all one piece. Would recommend considering it’s not too expensive.

I love grilled foods. But it's impossible to grill in the rain or cold and a pain to grill in the dark. Living in Michigan I have quite a bit of the first two and because of our work schedule dinner is generally late. There have been so many packages of fresh meats that have had to go in the freezer and become no good for grilling because some reason kept us from grilling. So this Indoor Grill by Elite Platinum is a godsend for me. It will save me time and money and let me eat what I want. It has ceramic bars that heat up to 400 degrees to provide a good sear and then the temperature can be turned down for cooking. I made pork chops the first night I had this grill and they were fantastic. They were super juicy thanks to the pan of water and the glass lid. The lid is essential because you can see your food, hold in the steam from the drip tray and keep the heat in to cook more quickly and evenly. I have extremely sensitive smoke detectors and thanks to the water in the drip pan there was zero smoke. Cleanup was a breeze. Literally wiped everything down with a hot soapy washcloth, rinsed and air dried. I'm so impressed that I would recommend this grill to anyone who likes to grill. From apartment dwellers or just people that don't want to deal with the elements when grilling, it's awesome!

I just received this grill today just one problem when I went to put the handle on the glass top it was fine until a while later I heard a noise and the base of the handle had broken. Did sent a message to the company will see if I can get a replacement handle they said will get back to me within 24 to 48 hrs. Will see what happens a little disappointed right now.
