However, I have a fixed space that the garbage can needs to fit and this one just fit the measurements. After debating buying the product and trying to find cheaper ones, I was more or less “forced” to buy this one. And boy am I happy I did but it!!! This is the nicest, best quality, well thought out garbage can you will ever buy! I have had it for several months now and it looks and operates as if brand new. It looks soooo good, shuts quietly and although we didn’t have a garbage mishap yet, you can tell that the design on the bottom of the can is designed for easy clean up. It’s a good size, too. It doesn’t take over our tiny kitchen, but I also don’t have to empty it every day. (Unless by necessity, of course). Never thought I would be this excited about a garbage can,- but I am! I highly recommend this product. And do yourself a favor and buy the garbage bags that fit it perfectly.
