Review: Best night light! - I absolutely love this galaxy projector I got for my grandchildren! At night, it gives off the perfect amount of light—just enough to softly illuminate their room—so we don’t have to keep the hall or main lights on, which saves a ton of electricity. The colors are so pretty, and I love that you can change them with a remote control—so easy! Both my grandkids have one, and they both adore them. Highly recommend!
Review: Wonderfully soothing! Works well with vaulted ceilings. - This little gadget is super cool! I bought this as a gift for a friend but with the discount decided to try one for myself too. Why not, right? If you want to transform your space into something magical and calming, buy this thing. The hardest part was finding the right place to set it up for maximum coverage. I imagine the floor would be best but that wasn't an option for me because, dogs and my own clumsiness. Very much plug and play because I didn't read the directions. You will need a USB adapter to plug into an outlet, and 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Other than that, once you get it positioned right there is nothing left to do except groove and relax. I love the beams in my home but this device takes them to an entirely new mystical level! The sounds are ok, considering. I was not a fan of the whale noises (but I know lots of people love 'em) but they would work well with the blue setting - which gives the room an aquatic feel, like a swimming pool at night. The train sounds creeped 2/3 friends out. The rain and thunder sounds were pretty great, the river/babbling brook/ocean made me have to pee (if you know, you know ladies). The timer can be set for 1 or 2 hours. I posted pictures of the colors. I thought the red was sexy af, but 1/3 friends thought it looked evil. The white looks like clouds, on a moonlit night. You can mix the colors to certain extent and get a unicorn look. The blue and green are exceptionally soothing and give the room an aquarium look. Tbh I just sat on the couch and jammed all the buttons on the remote to see what would happen. Overall, I recommend this thing if you want to groove up your space. I paired mine with a glass of wine and some classical music but I can see how this would work well for parties and harder jams. Can't speak to the longevity because I just got it yesterday but will update if it craps out anytime soon. Buy this, you won't be disappointed!

We have upgraded version for this dinosaur egg projector and it is available now here on Amazon, we have removed the "power off" ladies voice while it turns off.

Thank you very much for your interest in our galaxy projector.
At Rossetta, the health and safety of people and pets remain our number one priority. The most important factors for us to consider when setting up a night light are power sources and overheating. First, although most bulbs use a relatively small amount of power compared to other electronics, Rossetta galaxy projector bulbs tend to draw more power than their ceiling or lamp-based counterparts. Since the device is intended to run for long periods of time, ensure that the outlet is not overloaded to prevent shorts and other electrical damage. Second, Rossetta galaxy projectors also have an auto-off timer which you can set to turn off after 1 or 2 hours. No need to worry about leaving it on when trying to fall asleep. Will be off after 4 hours if forgot to set the timer.

Briefly looking into a class 1 laser will not instantly damage the eyes but starring into it would but that would be very deliberate and difficult for a child to do.

Last but not least, inside the box, you can see the label for the safety information for Rossetta projectors, Rossetta projectors are laser lights that project thousands of colorful stars. The lasers we use are low-wattage, we split the main beam into thousands of smaller beams which are less than 1 miliWatts each, and wavelength is between 400-700nm. We are also registered with the CDRH (Center for Devices and Radiological Health) and take great precautions to ensure user safety. All in all, we would like to make all our customers stay healthy and safe with our projectors.

I absolutely love this galaxy projector I got for my grandchildren! At night, it gives off the perfect amount of light—just enough to softly illuminate their room—so we don’t have to keep the hall or main lights on, which saves a ton of electricity. Absolutely so engaging. I can’t wait until 4pm to close my blinds just to turn my stars on. The device has so many colors that look like galaxies. I love the sound of the crickets. Another sound is of various running water ie: seashore, running stream and rain. The remote is very convenient. I highly recommend
