The scale length, however, is that of a violin rather than a viola, so it will feel familiar to play if you're a violinist. **Q: Is the bridge curvature compromised compared to a 4 string one? My Ns Design 5 string violin & cello are a bit flatter than should be in a 4 string.** A: I'm not a violin maker or repair person so I can't really say. I do notice my strings being shifted slightly to accommodate the low C string. **Q: Which bow and shoulder rest go well with this violin?** A: Whatever fits the interpret.
