It does everything the factory cable does.
This cable works as well as the original factory cable. Another reviewer reported that it worked only for charging and would not connect the dive computer with a PC. That would have been fine with me, but I was pleasently surprised to find that my Suunto EON Steel connected to a PC and all functions were supported. Using the free software from Suunto it was recognized by my Windows PC, synced all settings, accessed my logs, edited the display, and even did a firmware update.

It works.
Not much more I can say. Feels and looks lighter than the factory cable, maybe smaller. I did not measure them side by side. The factory cable stays connected to my desktop to charge my dive computer and this one will be my backup for travel etc....

Works like the OEM cable...
... but less expensive and so far more reliable. The Suunto cables always rusted and failed within a few months.

good only to charge
it is a good quality cable and it works to recharge the computer but when you try to connect to the computer PC mark as a faillure
