A: Yes, I did this with my AXE11000 as the router and the ET12s at aimesh nodes.  bulletproof setup now.

**Q: How many ssids are supported?**
A: You can combine two (2.4 & 5GHz) or three (2.4, 5 and 6GHz) bands via "Smart Connect" into a single SSID. With a dual-band configuration, the 6GHz channel can have its own SSID. If you elect not to use Smart Connect, each band can have its own SSID. In addition, each band can have up to 3 "Guest" SSIDs, for a potential total of 12 SSIDs, 4 per band.

A: not just an AP, but a router mesh system

A: Yes switching to the zenwifi pro as the main router and switching all the others to nodes including the zenwifi ax, especially with the newest firmware has prevented alot of my smart lights from dropping offline.
