Have I got a faulty unit or is there something I need to do to set it up?** A: I don’t remember setting anything up. Try standing a cup of water near it to test the unit. Humidity is low in a lot of places at the moment so it could be that there’s not enough in the air for your unit to collect any water. Take the tank out too and double check everything’s in order inside. **Q: How long is the cable?** A: It is 5ft long. **Q: How do you charge this machine or is it battery powered?** A: This unit is operated purely from the elctrical outlet. It has a 220 volt to low voltage adaptorr which you plug into the rear of the unit.
