I have 2 Open Mesh A60 APs that cover my small home very well.I have a "server closet" where my previous WiFi router was located. Even though my house was small, there were a couple of WiFi dead spots most likely from appliances, HVAC ductwork, etc.I now have a Cisco POE switch which connects and powers the 2 A60s (I didn't use the POE injectors). So instead of one WiFi point in the closet, there are 2 points more strategically located in the house (mounted on the ceiling). The units are low profile on the ceiling, no worse than a smoke detector, but they do have a little blue glow (potentially other colors if there is a problem). You can turn off the status light but it makes a nice night light and isn't really noticeable during the day.I get 5 bars (max) of WiFi throughout the house, although I have noticed 4 bars occasionally. This happens when I'm connected to one of the APs and move to the far end of the house from it and the open mesh doesn't switch APs immediately. So it is possible to be standing under one AP and have 4 bars because it is still connected to the other AP. So it isn't magic but it does work great. I never have connection issues so staring at the bars and pondering the switching algorithms is more of a philosophical frame of mind.I set up the devices in DHCP before turning them on and the online configuration was fairly straightforward and easy. The GPS mapping does work well, I can tell the units apart on the online map so if one has a problem, you can find it.I highly recommend switching to an AP based WiFi network if you have any coverage problems and the Open Mesh A60s are working well for me.

I purchased and returned two WAPs prior to buying this one because I just couldn't get them to work. The products that I returned were extremely difficult to install and there was absolutely no technical support to assist you with their overly complex installation process. This product, on the other hand is outstanding. This unit had its complexities in installation like the others, but the technical support was fantastic. No direct phone support mind you, it's e-mail back and forth. But believe it or not I e-mailed tech support on a Saturday of a three day weekend and someone actually e-mailed back to help me. It took a bit of back and forth to get the unit installed and up and running, but now that it is I am THRILLED with the product. And the physical installation is a breeze because they give you a template that will EASILY connect to any type of electrical box in the wall or ceiling. Mine is a ceiling mount and all I had to do was remove the two screws for the template of my old unit, put the same screws through the new template for this product, and the unit was physically installed in my ceiling in less than five minutes. The coverage is great and the unit is nice and small and looks very sleek (not clunky) mounted to my ceiling. After the nightmare of two purchases and two returns, this product is fabulous!

Increased coverage and management. I'm buying more. No more dead spots in my 2 story brick house and property.

Phenomenal wireless access point, remote management platform is fantastic. The secondary Ethernet port is a great feature. Also this package coming with the PoE injector and some velcro is very handy.

Works fine in our WiFi net and performs well over the last month and will buy again if needed

Excellent combination of exactly what you need to use this Open Mesh product. The inclusion of the TP-Link Poe injector is a great idea and the included velcro straps are an added bonus.

I bought this for one of my colleagues to set up a very rural and small library. As far as I know, all is fine, and it arrived when I was told it would.

Stated A62, receive an A60. Still a good price and unit works well.
