It remains crystal clear without yellowing, endures up to 747% joint movement, and resists scrubbing and weathering, making it the professional’s go-to for durable, invisible seals indoors and outdoors. ## Description Sealants have a reputation problem, and silicone is usually the reason: it yellows, discolors, and stands out exactly where it was meant to disappear. Lexel is built to hold its true color instead, resisting the yellowing and discoloration that shows up on standard silicone within a season or two, as a genuine silicone caulk alternative. It also handles conditions silicone struggles with: it is a sealant that sticks to wet surfaces, bonding to wet or dry surfaces and waterproof immediately upon application, so a leak around a tub, sink, or drain pipe can be sealed without waiting for things to dry out first, and it never freezes in cold storage or cold application conditions. It is highly elastic, handling up to 700 percent joint movement, and once cured it forms a fully waterproof, smooth, non-porous surface that resists staining and stays easy to clean instead of trapping grime the way a porous bead would. Unlike silicone, it is paintable with latex or oil based paint, which opens it up to a wider range of interior and exterior projects without the separation problems that keep paint from sticking to a silicone bead. It sticks to nearly anything, including glass, metal, and PVC, and is suited for tubs and shower stalls, sinks and countertops, window and door frames, PVC or metal drain pipes, gutters, and RVs, working as a window leak sealer and exterior window caulk as easily as an indoor fix. A built in anti-drip plunger pulls material back into the tip after each use, so it stops oozing and dripping the moment gun pressure is released instead of making a mess on the next job. Once cured it is scrubbable enough to hold up to regular cleaning. Each [Container] holds [Size] ounces, with [X] [Container]s per pack, and applies in temperatures from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. ## Features - Highly elastic sealant built to outlast standard silicone: resists the yellowing and discoloration silicone shows within a season or two, handling up to 700 percent joint movement without losing its color - Instantly waterproof and a sealant that sticks to wet surfaces: applies to wet or dry surfaces up to a 2 inch joint size so a repair doesn't have to wait for a dry day, a true outdoor sealant waterproof enough for the worst conditions - Paintable, unlike silicone, and fully waterproof once cured with a smooth, non-porous surface that's easy to clean: ready for latex paint in 24 to 48 hours or oil based paint in 3 to 4 weeks, without silicone's separation issues - A window leak sealer and exterior window caulk with excellent UV resistance: seals tubs, shower stalls, sinks, countertops, window and door frames, PVC or metal drain pipes, RVs, and gutters that face the sun all day - Stops water leaks and sticks to almost anything from glass to metal to PVC, indoor or outdoor, never freezes, scrubbable once cured, applies from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and holds service temperatures from negative 30 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01LZA2H2L | | ASIN | B01LZA2H2L | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,140 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #13 in Adhesive Caulk | | Brand Name | Sashco | | Color | Clear | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,873) | | Date First Available | September 26, 2016 | | Full Cure Time | 7 days | | Included Components | 2 pack of 10.5 oz Clear Lexel Caulk | | Initial Hardening Time | 30 minutes | | Item Form | Paste | | Item Highlight | Paintable formula bonds to wet surfaces indoors and outdoors, stays flexible in all weather, and resists silicone's yellowing | | Item Weight | 1.3 pounds | | Liquid Volume | 10.5 fluid ounces | | Manufacturer | Sashco | | Manufacturer | Sashco | | Material Type | Synthetic Rubber | | Maximum Gap Fill | 2 inches | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Package Dimensions | 11.14 x 4.53 x 3.11 inches; 1.31 pounds | | Part Number | 13010 | | Surface Recommendation | Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Galvanized Steel, ABS, Acrylic, Nylon, Polycarbonate, PVC, Asphalt, Brick, Ceramic, Concrete, Drywall, Fiberglass, Glass, Laminate, Mortar, Paint, Porcelain, Stone, Stucco, Tile, Vinyl, and Wood. | | UPC | 031525213101 | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sashco - **Color:** Clear - **Full Cure Time:** 7 days - **Item Weight:** 1.3 pounds - **Liquid Volume:** 10.5 fluid ounces ## Images ![Sashco Lexel Waterproof Caulk & Sealant Clear, 10.5 oz, Pack of 2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61NcmAExFvL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Number Of Items** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sashco Inc 13010 2 Pack 10.5 oz.
