Air Hogs RC Rollercopter - Red

This lasted all of about 30 minutes on Christmas day, and then a very sad kid. If you are going to put a cage around your copter, you need to ensure that it isn't so easy to bang the blades into the cage. The cage, instead of acting as protection, it acts as a shredder for blades. And those blades apparently are not replaceable like every other brand with a $40+ copter.

The kids love this helicopter and I like the fact that it can fall from high places as bump things without breaking. I bought this one specifically because they quickly broke another helicopter that wasn't in a protective cage.

This was so cool when we first played with it. After about three flights, the rotor blades broke and it's unrepairable. A friend of mine who works at a big box store said she has seen about 4 returns a week. Very disappointed; not the Air Hogs quality I expect.

Best remote helicopter out there! Having the round cage means it doesn't break every time you run into a wall, the ceiling, etc., which makes it SO much better for younger, more novice fliers.

I bought this for our grandson, but I had already purchased one for my husband and new that it was a winner! It is almost indestructable because it is in this plastic case. It flies so well and so easy to use. He loves, loves, loves it!

We bought this for our toddler son, (we know it says for 8+) but quickly realized he's entirely too young. The commercial shows it rolling up the wall with ease and gracefully tumbling down the stairs - NO! My husband and I tried to maneuver this thing with not much luck. There were times it seemed to have a mind of its own and we quickly had to duck, dodge or jump to avoid being hit with it. Although it's surrounded by the cage, the cage flexes and you could possible cut/injure yourself with the blades. It does not easily drive across the ground or roll up a wall. You can easily get it off the ground, but trying to control it in the air is difficult. Either it spins in circles or darts off in unexpected directions. I'm sure it can be mastered, but it's quite expensive for what you get. Did I mention the charge doesn't last very long either... maybe 15 minutes. Since you have to charge the helicopter from the remote, it's not just a simple switch of the battery to keep going. You actually have to put it away and let it recharge before playing again.

Junk fell apart in a couple of days, my boy was very disappointed. This thing cost a lot to be so fragile!

Works ok. Sometimes hard to control. It shuts off when it bumps into something too hard so you have to turn it off then back on each time. One of the bars broke after 3 months.

I ordered this for my son, thinking it would work out better than ones not protected in a cage. I was wrong. It took less than an hour before the blades were dented and it would not fly properly. Within a few hours, parts from the top of the blades fell off. It was a waste of money.

A bit hard to use for my 8 year old.

testé ce jour même 25 décembre, au premier essai une pièce interne s'est rompue rendant le jouet inopérant, je pense que cet inconvénient de ce jouet devrait être signalé.

It is completely uncontrollabable, even by adults that are used to remote contolled helicopters.
