The Shure SM-10A headset mic is convenient for hands-free singing, with Shure-quality sound. IMPORTANT: This item is NOT labeled properly as this is NOT a CONDENSER mic, but a wired DYNAMIC mic. No need for phantom power on your board, or a battery-operated receiver--just plug it in to an XLR (mic) cable and you're ready to perform. Probably a good idea to use a mic cable with an on-off switch, as this mic doesn't have one. Mine stays put nicely, but doesn't have a subtle look--it's pretty obvious that you're wearing it [band goes over the top of the head instead of behind]. Cons: cables are a little fragile so please stow it carefully. Also it's not wireless so you don't really have much maneuverability (I'm a drummer so I stay put anyway). This mic is so simple to use, and effective.

From a audio quality perspective, the Shure SM10A is definitely better than a USB headset but not as good as a Shure SM58 handheld microphone.Compared to my SM58, the SM10A has a minor nasal sound to it (which the SM58 does not have).

I was satisfied with this at first I was more then that they don't have the balls the sm58 does however they are close its nice in clean built really well compaird to most that I have seen I bought for my son mostly he drums for me now just started sing a few he had hard time using the legendary worthless goose neck mic stand....im satisfied ...just add a few more lows and boost the gain..

I am a high school teacher and I often use a microphone when my voice gets tired of "loud speaking". I have a hand held mic which works but it is inconvenient and it tires out my arm. For a while I was using a head mounted wireless mic, but the thin wire over the ear system was always causing problems, and I was constantly replacing batteries. I then switched to a lapel mic, however, its extra sensitive nature makes feedback a real problem when I try and turn up the volume. This Shure SM10A-CN head-worn mic is exactly was I have been looking for. It is sturdy, it is designed to pick up voices, ( I did not need a high fidelity instrument mic) and it mounts close to my mouth so I can reduce the gain, and now I have no feedback issues, even when it is turned way up loud. The adjustment mechanism for positioning the mic is excellent, and the head mount is comfortable. It is obvious to everyone that I am wearing the mic, but after a day or so kids stopped noticing/mentioning it.

I haven't used them yet because of where the mic holder is located you can't wear headphones and I have Vic Firth headphones for recording. So, I am now waiting to receive my in ear monitors. If I had it to do over I wouldn't buy this particular unit, that's my fault for going budget.

The mic sounds good. It's not very powerful so you have to add the max amount of Gain/Trim to boost this thing. But it's great for drummers who want to sing and not worry about a boom mic in their way. The connecting wire is very thin so make sure you don't walk on it or crimp it under your chair. The best sound is when the sponge at the end is just a few mm from your lips in the corner of your mouth. Pack it with care as it seems it could get easily bent.

Have had a couple a couple of these. Real work horse for what you need. Comes with XLR end. No push to talk switch. Needs to be spliced in or connected.

求めていたものそのものです。自分はギターを弾きながらコーラスを入れるのですが、音質も十分良いしハウリングも起きにくいしホントに満足いくものでした。LIVEが楽になりました。減点ポイントではありませんが、坊主頭の自分が帽子無しでこれを着けると、遠目にバーコードハゲに見えます 笑笑

1週間程度の仕様です。コンデンサーマイクでは拾ってしまっていたノイズもこのマイクに変えてからだいぶ減りました。ダイナミックマイクとコンデンサーマイクの感度の違いでそうなった可能性もありますが、個人的には満足。付け心地は装着感がほとんど無く最高ですが、喋っているときに位置を変えようとして触るとその音をかなり拾います。配信者の方などは配信中は本体に触れないようにするか、マイクをOFFにしてから触るといいと思います。配信で使うことを前提のレビューだと手軽さはやはりゲーミングヘッドセットのほうが上なので★４にします。

YMOのカバーには必須なので、将来に備えた予備として追加購入最近の類似商品の方が、軽さや装着しやすさは優れているのかもしれないが、チャラくない感じはこれが突出していると思います

同じＳＨＵＲＥのヘッドマイクで頭の後ろからかけるタイプのを使っていましたが、ライブでの音量に限界があるので音量調節ができるものがないかと探していました。これも音量調節はできないのでちょっと残念でしたが、カチューシャタイプでしかも耳の高さに調整もできるので使いやすいです。ミニライブでは音も良かったです。ケース付きなのも保管に良いです。
