I think it was like 10$ vs others going for like 50$. I bought this to protect my bumper from my baby carriage going in and out of my car and it’s worked perfectly. It’s covering up some scratches now but I love the look. It’s super easy to install my husband and I did it in less than 5 minutes without using instructions and it’s held on great. I fit it over the lip of my trunk and I was afraid it would stick up but it hasn’t really it’s very secure if anything the edges on the side stick up a bit but regardless it’s secure. It feels more expensive than it was, very thick, scuff free, no wrinkles. I highly recommend this. Review: Installs easily with a little prep, easy to cut to fit. - Installs easily with a little prep, easy to cut to fit. I bought the wider size since it was only a little more expensive and gives more-complete protection for the full depth (front to back) of the bumper. I've had model-specific protectors in the past, 1 of the clear plastic style, 1 of a rough black plastic (almost like sand paper) style, & believe this thick rubbery style offers better protection at a much better price. I read enough reviews commenting that the cover wouldn't lie flat due to being shipped as folded rather than rolled or flat, so I took measures to fix that. First, I rolled it out flat inside the house to relax g6ir a couple days. Then, I placed it on my dashboard while driving around for a few errands to get it nicely warmed up. Then I rolled it up, tape-side facing out (still with tape-protector of course) & stuck it in a cup holder. I then rolled it out as I prepped the clean bumper with alcohol & a rag. Since this universal cover was too wide for my 2017 Fit, I had to trim both ends using heavy-duty scissors/shears. I used a paint can to trace a nice curve on each end so that it fits the contours of the bumper. My wife helped me so that there were enough hands to expose the tape & stick down the cover while maintaining the right position. We marked both the middle of the bumper & of the cover and worked our way towards 1 side and then the other. It's been a few weeks, including some rainstorms, and so far so good. Very pleased. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B841BTCV | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #19,046 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #11 in Bumper Guards | | Brand | 8sanlione | | Brand Name | 8sanlione | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 2,802 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Rubber | | Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Included Components | no | | Item Dimensions L x W | 40.94"L x 3.54"W | | Item Highlight | trunk-door entry coverage, abrasion and scratch protection, verify mounting-area dimensions, car exterior accessories | | Item Type Name | Protector | | Manufacturer | 8sanlione | | Manufacturer Part Number | 8sanlione-Strip | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 0.1 | | Material | Rubber | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Number | 062 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 40.94"L x 3.54"W | | Surface Recommendation | Bumper, Door | | UPC | 735372413584 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Color:** Black - **Brand:** 8sanlione - **Product Dimensions:** 40.94"L x 3.54"W - **Surface Recommendation:** Bumper, Door - **Manufacturer:** 8sanlione ## Images ![Non-Slip Rubber Car Rear Bumper Guard Strip, Black/35.4"x2.7" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qJHuzwKwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this fit a 2012 Hyundai elantra?** A: I am not familiar with your Hyundai Elantra, but I know that the 3.5" width of this protector was too wide for my Toyota. Hope this helps. **Q: Should this be applied in warmer weather?** A: I'm not sure why someone else said this stuff sticks well. I put this stuff on in direct afternoon sunlight (see my review below), both before and after, letting it get extremely warm to the touch (on level to a heat gun), and it still has numerous bubbles, creases, and the outer edges are very easy to peel back with the minimal finger pressure / pull. Again, just see my review. **Q: can you trim it** A: I don't know, it fit my car perfectly, but with a good pair of scissors looks like you can **Q: Just wonder if this product would sit 2023 my Kia Sorento** A: I just used a tape measure. It fit my 2021 jeep grand cherokee. I ordered the longer one. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, greater price! *by P***E on August 15, 2025* Awesome product, especially for the price. I was afraid there was too much adhesive and it was spilling out the side but it doesn't stay attached to the rubber strip leaving it very ugly Purchased this product for my 2023 Mazda 3 sedan, and the length and width was a great fit for the area I'm trying to protect. The rubber presented as a deep, dark matte black, with a good thickness to the product which should help it last a long time and prevent damage like I'm hoping. The issue to only get three stars is the adhesive on the back is excessive. The strip came rolled up and when I took it out had some bumps and creases, so I left it out in the sun all day hoping that the heat would flatten those out. It appears the real issue is the solid sheet of adhesive on the back. In the installation video the product has 3 strips of adhesive instead of one solid sheet. The problem with the solid sheet is that there are creases and excess product, so of course it won't lay completely flat with this extra amount of adhesive on the back. In my pictures you can see where there are visible ridges due to the adhesive being thicker than one layer in an area, causing a bulge. This bulge also (although very minimally) will poke out of the sides and you can see it. Eventually I will color this with a black marker or something similar, but the 3 strip adhesive would be a better solution to this issue. ## Frequently Bought Together - Car Rear Bumper Protector Guard - Anti-Scratch Rubber Cover Strip for Most Cars and SUVs - SINGARO Car Door Threshold Protection, 4PCS Door Edge Step Dust Shield Cover, Door Width 23.6x2.36inch Car/SUV Universal Rubber Scratch Resistant Exterior Accessories (Black) - 4PCS Sticker, Carbon Fiber Anti-Scratches Car Door Cup Protector, Non-Marking Auto Door Handle Protective Film, Universal for Most Car Handles (Black/4PCS) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/464482685-non-slip-rubber-car-rear-bumper-guard-strip-black-35](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/464482685-non-slip-rubber-car-rear-bumper-guard-strip-black-35) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
