Works for tenor and alto
My neck won't take the pressure from a traditional strap any more, not even if it's padded. So I wanted a harness. But I also switch horns regularly, and I wanted something that would easily adjust to alto and tenor. This one fit the bill nicely. In addition to being able to attach the rear straps several different ways -- to each other, to the hook itself, or to the cords -- I am able to slide the hook up and down on its, whatever you call the sliding thing that adjusts the distance of the hook from your neck. The two straps are also adjustable as well as detachable. So you can take them off, or you can adjust their length to whether you are playing with the saxophone to your side or in front of you (by changing the length of the rear straps), and adjust for standing versus sitting, all in a matter of seconds. I really like this harness. It's solved all my problems while creating no new ones.

Not as comfortable or strong as BG harness
I had to use foam padding and gaffer's tape to make the Oleg harness even tolerable--it cuts into my collarbone painfully. My band has a lot of dance moves, and the two little snap attachments that connect the auxiliary straps to the main neck-strap behind my neck will come unsnapped during these dance moves. Totally annoying, especially when it might be two or three songs down the set that I have a chance to try to re-hook them.Plus I don't trust the plastic clip. I replaced the plastic clip with a carabiner rated for 150lbs from Home Depot, but still I would get the BG harness instead of the Oleg.
