I ordered this Acrylic Wall sign holder to be installed on a glass window in a foyer. This holder is made of heavy-duty plastic and is very sturdy. The holder is covered with a protective film to protect the holder until it is ready to be installed and the plastic is clear and not at all hazy. It also arrives covered in bubble wrap so if the outer box is damaged the holder will be protected. There is a notch at the top of the holder so a document can be easily inserted or removed.This holder is not ideal for double-sided viewing if the text or art on your document extends to the edge of the paper since the 3M mounting tabs will block some of the content. If your document has a one-inch margin on each side then the document can be viewed from both sides of the holder when you have the holder installed on a glass partition. A one-inch margin is pretty much standard if you are creating a text document on Microsoft Word in which case the documents can be placed back to back and viewed from both side on a glass panel.

I made the mistake of getting these for art, but I won't let that impact my review as the purpose that they're advertised for. I can't use them for art because of the notch at the top. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but it's really noticeable when looking at the piece. That being said, that notch actually offers a lot of utility for hanging signs, especially if they need to be replaced every once in a while. These are really sturdy and they are clear when the film is pulled off. The film is very easily pulled off and it has tabs to help you pull it off, so you won't have to struggle to get your fingernail under it.These would work perfectly for a business that needs to replace signs every once in a while, or for anything else like that. I've chosen not to rate the adhesive because I'm not exactly sure how long it'll stay up yet, it seems like it'll stick, though. The value for money on these is really high. I think it's a steal for $5 a piece. I don't think you can get much better than that.

8 1/2 x 11 paper fits perfectly into this holder! I believe it is just right for the paper - it is not too tight, but it is not so loose that the paper might wind up crooked. The acrylic is nice and clear. There is a small lip at the bottom to hold the paper. Also comes with 20 pieces of double-sided tape.

These signs arrived with a protective film that is a headache to remove. Once I finally got it off, I noted that the back, as seen in the picture, is not a full cover, it loops around and is supposed to hold a sign in there. If it's a paper sign, this could simply fall out over time with gravity causing the paper to change shape (an issue I had with a laminated sign before!)I plan to put a laminated sign inside of it and hopefully that will hold up. The sign holders are sturdy and thick, which is good. I would simply look for a full sleeve sign holder next time.If you don't need a full sleeve sign holder, these will work. Good quality, heavy duty, nice and clear acrylic.

My husband and I were interested in these so our daughter can look up what she is having for school lunch each day. We hung it near where her jackets and backpack are kept so she can see it, and it stops the constant questions in the morning for my husband and I to look it up on our phones. (hopefully, we haven't had a day of school yet since we got them, but soon! lol)

Got these for my office space, to replace some of the paper signs and flyers that quickly begin to look shabby. It takes a few minutes to remove the adhesive and prep the back, but these are worth the small investment of time. Have already gotten several comments on how these enhance the space's professionalism.

I placed these up on a classroom door about 1 month ago and made sure to push firmly on the adhesive to stick it to the wooden door. Well unfortunately, one of them fell and cracked a corner off. It still works, I can still slide in papers but just be aware that you may be better off placing in on a stationary surface like a wall v.s a door that is constantly open.I am going to see if I find additional adhesive 3m tape to secure it to the door again.

I got these for our office because we had some 8-1/2x11 sheets that we wanted displayed but were tacked to a board. I put the mounting tape on the 4 corners of the back and peeled the backing off the tape and they stick real nice on the wall. The plastic comes with a protective film over it you need to take off first so they look mint. The lip on the end of one side so items don't slide down vertically is fine but if you are using cheap, thin paper you might find sometimes it will slip past it but most will have no issue.
