This is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions but make sure you peel that off before installation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good; one issue *by K***O on January 5, 2025* These work pretty well. They aren't flimsy, and the adhesion strip is strong. The only issue is that the adhesion strip is maybe a half inch above the bottom of the plastic, so if urine hits it, the surface tension of the urine causes it to get pulled up underneath the guard. It is hard to get it out, as the guard is stiff and stays laying close to the surface of the litter box side. It would be better to have the adhesive strip extend all the way to the bottom of the guard. I appreciate that might affect the adhesive, but I'm guessing it would last longer than my cat can stand bits of pure urine permanently stuck under the edge of the guard (he needs a clean litter box). Alternatively, a flap at the bottom that can be raised to clean underneath could avoid this issue. Anyway, it's better than pee on the floor or wall, but I recommend you attach this as high as possible to hopefully lessen the number of times pee hits it and the resulting difficulty of trying to get that pee back out from underneath.
