AICase iPad Pro 9.7/iPad Air 2 2014 IP68 Waterproof, 360 Degree All Round Protective Ultra SlimDust/Snow Proof with Lanyard

I know a lot of people have complained and even provided pictures with the camera hole not lining up, but I just installed this case on my iPad Air 2 and it lines up perfectly. So, it could just be a prior bad batch or perhaps intermittent quality control issues, but they aren't all like that. I bought it to be dustproof, so I can't attest to waterproof ability, but it seems like it seals up nice and tight.

Bought this to complete my lifelong dream of having a TV in the shower.Previously just set the iPad on the half shower wall, outside the shower and used a Big Jambox bluetooth speaker over on the bathroom counter. This was fine for watching a sporting event while showering, but not so good for tv shows as the dialogue became muddy sounding through the shower door and the closed captioning was difficult to read being down low on the shower wall and the other side of the glass.So I bought a waterproof bluetooth speaker to put inside the shower and then bought this case, since it appeared I could use the included strap to hang the iPad at a better viewing height.First, the case is waterproof. They give instructions on performing a water test by closing the case with a piece of paper inside and keeping it submerged for 30 minutes to see if the paper stays dry. I ended up getting a phone call about 1 minute before my 30 minute timer went off and left it submerged for a full 45 minutes.I could see from looking through the case that the paper was dry. The paper had writing on it in an ink that I know from experience runs easily if it gets at all wet.It's good I could see this through the case, because they instructions for opening the case once it's sealed are awful. It literally says "Open the case using a coin or some other tool." No coin works, I tried using tweezers, scissors (until I thought better of it and realized I was liable to cut myself) and a few other items as well. Then I went and looked at my various guitar tools that I keep for minor adjustments and saw the small, eyeglass screwdrivers I keep, the kind you buy at the grocery store checkout line. That was the only tool that even came close to working. So if you buy this case, make sure you have these screwdrivers on hand if you ever want to reopen the case.I guess the difficulty opening the case is worthwhile since it's what keeps it waterproof, but man, it's annoying.And this next part is really what keeps this from being an excellent product. The strap that the case comes with is shown in the photos to hold the case at 2 adjacent corners such that the iPad would hang in landscape orientation when hanging from the strap. This was the whole reason I opted for this case over the hundreds of others you see here on Amazon. It was the only one I saw that purported to hold the iPad in landscape orientation. Most of the other waterproof cases have no strap, and those that do all seemed to me to hold the iPad in portrait orientation, like the strap was only meant for workers who carried an iPad to complete forms as they worked.Imagine then, my dismay when I went to put the strap on and see that the strap connection holes are not set up to keep a hanging iPad in landscape orientation. They're also not set up to keep the iPad in portrait orientation. For some reason, they're set up on opposite corners of the case!!!! Which makes the strap completely worthless. And I was definitely charged extra for the strap as this case was $2-3 more expensive than the exact same cases without the worthless strap.Some better instructions for reopening a sealed case and better strap holding design would easily make this a ***** purchase. As it is, had to drop it to a 3* review. Still worthwhile if you just need a way to keep your iPad dry in adverse weather conditions, but not all it's cracked up to be.Oh, and I almost forgot - it didn't matter to me in the slightest as I've never taken a single picture with an iPad, but despite the case fitting my original iPad Air (A1475 family) well, the camera slot for the case doesn't line up at all with the actual camera on the iPad Air

First impression is great. I love how slim it is and it doesn't add much weight or thickness to the device. I have not totally submerged it yet, but it seems like it would be waterproof.

This was a replacement for one of those smart cases. For me, this is much better! I can be confident when I take it anywhere there is water or in the kitchen and not worry about damaging my iPad. it's got sturdy plugs for the connectors to keep them water-tight. The strap is awesome. I can just pick it up and if my hands are full, no worries. I can carry my iPad without dropping it. A nice case! I bought a tablet shoulder bag to keep it transportable. The cost for this case and the shoulder bag was less than a less versatile case.

This product was purchased to water proof an iPad because the iPad was given my a 2-3year old to play with. Previously milk was spilled and caused discoloration under the screen. The screen was replaced twice due to this. So I bought this for Product. It works well for liquid protection but not so much for shock protection as my now 3 year just dropped it and the iPad screen is cracked. The pro duct is good for adults but not kids.

Dislike protective screen is bad in the sun.Have to press home button hard for it to work

Good case. I can still hear the sound fine but just don’t put it down...sound gets all muffled when it’s like that. Just a note, Some headphones can double as microphones, like the ones with a button along the cord.UPDATE: After 4 months of ownership, the adhesive around the home button wore off...immediately bought a new one (under heavy use, brought it with me literally everywhere I went, whenever I went out...which was often...everyday...almost every waking minute of the day....yeah)

My I pad has my bible in it and I like to read it in the hot tub. This will protect it for that purpose which was my primary need. Some of the holes and buttons are slightly off, so for use all the time it won’t work. Mine is a 2017 iPad air 2 model A1822. The camera hole is 1/8” to the left of where it should be. The button that turns the screen dark is off but wit a lot of pressure it still works. And the volume up and down are too low. It’s a bit challenging to get it off, so it will be a bit of a hassle taking it off and putting it on every day, but with some of the holes and buttons in the wrong place I will not use it as my all the time case

the case itself serves its purpose. It fits well and the test before using showed it to be properly water tight. The usse is that after 20-25 CHARGES the rubber plug that originally forms part of the case became dettached and now it is only a matter of time before it is lsot and that willmean the case is landfill. I will be looking for an alternate product and perhaps having to pay more for something that will last longer

The cover is perfect!! I’ve tried it under the shower (yes maybe too much details here) and it works!!!and even the fingerprint mode with wet fingers does work with attempts but still….it works!!! And I even played some music (using iPad Pro here) with a reasonable volume and sound!!! Now if you are planning to have video calls when using your media application under the shower to impress who ever you want to impress…….the microphone is muffled by the cover BUT!! get a waterproof Bluetooth headset or speaker (with microphone obviously!) and……..VOILA!!!
