Jean Dubost Laguiole 6-Piece Steak Knives -Red

Perfect compliment to my 20 piece flatware set. These knives are well balanced, weighty, and sharp. They are the perfect add on touch for my new red look dinette ensemble. Amazon does not have a large selection or red handled knives, and these are really worth the few bucks you are going to shell out for such set. Any steak lover knows what it feels like to try and cut into a nice peace of meat with a flimsy, light weight, unbalanced steak knife. Not good. With these, you will be quite pleased with these knives for the price. I have other costly steak knives with my more expensive flatware. These fit the bill for casual dining.

I was extremely disappointed in these knives. My parents have a set of wood Laguiole knives and the quality is significantly better. The plastic on these seems cheap. They were very lightweight and there were bits of plastic hanging off the knives that would need to be pulled off. In addition, the serrations are only on one side, so these knives are for someone who is cutting with their right hand. They won't work for lefty cutters.

I already had one set of 6 knives, so I needed to complete it with another set of 6. They are very good, they look thin but strong. Very well handmade in France.

All good. Same colour as the ones we've already got which suggests they're the real thing.

These knives are very sharp and cut beautifully; they also look nice. They match the Jean Dubost Laguiole cheese knives someone gave us as a present.
