If your planning to weld to the standard RV bumper, then I would not tow anything using this attachment or any other for that matter. My RV bumper crimped even before I reached the torque recommended by the manufacturer. **Q: Could I pull a trailer with this** A: The hitch is strong enough to pull a trailer (2000 lbs or less) but the problem is the flimsy RV bumper. I do not recommend mounting this in the standard factory installed RV bumper.
