(2011 Version) Instant Immersion English Levels 1, 2 & 3

At first I wasn't so sure, because the price is not that high it all, and normally this type of teaching software is always expensive to be a good product. But after digging in it for a while I found it pretty good and so easy to follow, I really say go for it and give it a try, you gonna love it.

Going threw the program was pretty easy don't get me wrong, but it was too short. Got it as a gift for my mother, once she told me she was done, it was done. Hopefully you have a different series so I can take a look at it. If so, gift #2.

I teach in English in China. The software and interactive DVDs are effective as advertised. My students enjoy both. The Oscar Lake (DVD) and MP3 (CD) are absolutely useless because each teaches Spanish not English. This kind of business practice is beyond misrepresentation and much more so unconscionable and reflects poorly on the manufacturer and Amazon. Both apparently have no principles outside of financial gain. Customers have complained many times before and the product is still on the market unchecked and sold over and over again. I would have checked no stars upon rating this item if I could. How careless and heartless.

It has NO instructions on where to start ! The # 1 disc shows a flashing Knife ? We speak Spanish and have NOT been able to change -or- move from that screen . We are using a MacBooK computer , do NOT know where to go from here . Wish it had a 800 telephone number so we could call someone for HELP !

The idea called "Immersion" was developed by Bulgarian psychologist and psychiatrist Dr. Lozanov for general study and used by Berlitz School to create an interactive language course. I like it more than any other system. It is faster, more natural and allows to learn real language as opposed to translation that is virtually useless for communication purposes.I buy it for my friend's children studying English.I am not an English Teacher. I hold PhD in Industrial Electronics and English is my second language.

Price reasonable and content easy to understand. It is fun to use and the quickest way to learn and handy to travel with.

Good to help me teach English to Chinese and Vietnamese students and adults

Pretty good...not expensive ...so...worth the money.Works well with the interactive feature.Taking it North Vietnam....the kids should enjoy it.
