Putting lavender on burns has been an amazing discovery. We have used it on slight " edge of pan" burns, to a grease burn- no blistering and cuts the pain. Quality lavender matters. This is a good product. It is a kitchen staple for us.

A+ Stuff! PSA: I live out in the country and use this as rodent repellent. I soak cotton balls and put them in a plastic zip baggie with small holes poked in it. Throw these in closets, attic and corners of rooms. Pet friendly and WONDERFUL scent!! I've been repelling mice successfully for over 2 years now! WHOOP WHOOP!

I use the Balsam Fir oil as a replacement odder on my "Fresh Cab" vehicle mouse repellent. I place 30 drops of oil per packet. Seems to work ok and is cheaper than buying new boxes of "Fresh Cab".I have used 7 bottles of Balsam Fir and have found it to be effective. I use a full dropper on each "bag" of used-up Fresh Cab packets. During the summer was only using it once or twice a month. Now that fall/winter is coming on and nights are getting colder, mice are looking for engines to spend their nights in and I've moved to 2-3 weeks depending on the vehicle.

Product is as described...my mistake was thinking it would smell like pine, which it doesn't, it smells more like lighter fluid...BUT, in it's defense, that was an assumption on my part. Depending upon what you want to use it for, I'm sure it's fine...it's just not the scent I was looking for as I expected a pine smell.
