Review: Brilliant customer service from Sophia at Dekco - I purchased a Dekco camera back in June of this year and it worked amazingly. Easy to set up and install with a very good picture quality and battery life. Unfortunately the camera suddenly stopped working this week and it was unable to connect to the app. I tried all the obvious solutions - resetting/updating the app ect but had no luck. So I contacted customer services through email and Sophia who dealt with my complaint was very helpful and polite she went above and beyond to try and help me resolve the issue. Within 24 hours Sophia had arranged to have a replacement camera sent out to me completely free of charge. And even extended the warranty in case I had anymore problems in the future. I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product or company to anyone. Great camera and even better customer service and support.
Review: Great value for money - We use this camera to keep watch on our shed after some episodes of vandalism. For the price it does an excellent job - video is very clear both daytime and nighttime and the motion detection is very good. It has an alarm in the form of a siren and a light that can be set to activate if human motion is detected after dark and also the facility to talk to whoever is there. It was easy to set up initially. We just wish we could set it to recognise us as it sends us notifications when we walk past it - but you can't have everything for that price! All in all a very good entry level security light that I have already recommended to family members.

A: You can contact seller through your Amazon sale…if you can,t seem to find it,,contact Amazon through firstly their Bot chat…they then should be able to connect you through to an actual Amazon employee who can sort all this out pretty easy…might mean either seller refunds you or sends you a new camera as it sounds your camera possibly faulty..my camera only needs charged every three to four months…hope that helps

A: Hi Customer,You can turn on the motion detection and insert a micro SD card, then the camera will record the motion automatically.If you want the camera detection all motions, please turn off humanoid detection on motion detection page -- alarm work mode -- custom mode -- then turn off day and night humanoid detection.Sincerely,DEKCO

**Q: If the wifi signal stops (eg power cut), camera signal is lost. Does the camera then have to be taken down and reset all over again?.**
A: No it won't lose it's settings, it should re-connect to the WiFi when it becomes available. I am very pleased with mine.

**Q: What's the connection range from the camera to the phone?**
A: The camera is connected to your WiFi (Not Bluetooth) so as long as your using data roaming or have a WiFi connection to your phone it's world wide. I was recently in Norway & still connected to my camera at home

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good security camera but poor battery life

Brought security camera for the front of the house, very clear picture and does detect movement in time and sends notifications onto phone to view. Records up to 30 seconds but can change this to 10 seconds to save on battery life. The only down side to this item is the battery life, works for 4-5 days, then needs a full day to charge it. Other than that the camera is very easy to use and works very well on app. And customer service on app has been great and quick responses. Rate this 6/10 :)
