I’ve tried different sets from them and have always been so impressed. But, it definitely leaves me expecting a lot from their brushes, so just because I’ve loved them in the past doesn’t mean I’m automatically going to love everything they come out with!This comes beautifully presented. It’s in a beautiful box. It’s held in place inside the box. I wish it had come with a cover or case that I could use to store it when not in use. Brushes like these ALWAYS get dust on them when sitting out, so I always need to store them in a drawer if they don’t have a cover or case. Fortunately, the box this comes in has such a beautiful look, you can use it to store the brush in when not in use. It’ll protect it from dust while also looking nice on the counter. But, it is a little bulkier than a case or cover would be so I would have preferred that.The brush itself is really nice quality. It has a curved and rounded side. It’s easy to hold. I thought it might be a little odd holding it and using it but it isn’t. It has densely packed bristles. The bristles are extremely soft. There hasn’t been any shedding at all. The bristles seem to be attached well. The brush has a nice look to it. I got mine with the “light gray” handle so it has dark brown bristles and a “light gray” handle (looks to me more like a cream color with a cool undertone, so leaning gray a little). There’s also a black handle option.This is big, much bigger than traditional foundation brushes (according to the product page it’s “2-2.5 times of normal foundation brush.”). I generally tend to like smaller foundation brushes because I can easily get my temples, around my nose, etc. With bigger brushes I always have to worry about it touching my hair or getting in my eyebrows or not getting around my nose easily. Of course, smaller brushes can take longer to do my foundation than a bigger brush would, but I’d rather have the precision I need in certain areas without having to switch to a different brush or hope I got it well enough. So, I wasn’t sure how much I’d like the size of this. But, it worked really well! It’s large so it covers a lot of area. But, you’re able to hold it so easily and can adjust the amount of pressure you apply easily. It blends out product so quickly! It doesn’t look streaky at all. It gives a nice, smooth finish whether the foundation is thicker or thinner. I’ve tried it with powder, liquid (thin and thicker ones), and creams. It works great with all of them! Being so dense it gives great coverage too. The curved and rounded side help me get the smaller areas. I can use the edge of rounded side to get around my nose. I can use the edge of the curved side to get my temple area without worrying about product getting in my hair. It works great!Overall, I think this is a great brush! If you’re a fan of kabuki brushes like this, I’d definitely recommend it! Even if you’re not, I’d still recommend giving it a try because it’s a great quality brush that works beautifully!
