Not one dead pixel and they are very bright. They are controlled in groups of 3 leds, not every single led can be a different color. The two sided tape is better than other brands that I have tried but still will not work for outdoor applications. The tape works great for temporarily holding the strip while you Zip Tie it down. Soldering on the half pads when you cut the strips can be a bit tricky but if you take your time it's not too difficult. The lower cost of the 3-per-pixel setup was perfect here and the results are still impressive. The light is bright and every LED works great on the strand I got. I am using this with a RaspberryPi to make my own effects.
