## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this microwave portable and cordless?**
A: Our COMMERCIAL CHEF 0.7 cu. ft. microwave is not cordless and is equipped with a 3-wire, 3-prong grounding plug. You may use your new microwave in a variety of indoor settings, but only on flat stable surfaces.

**Q: What’s the difference between Weight Defrost & Time Defrost?**
A: Our countertop microwave’s Weight Defrost Function works by inputting your food’s weight, which will defrost accordingly; Time Defrost will defrost meat, soups, stews, and other foods solely by inputting your preferred time.

**Q: What are the pre-set menu options?**
A: The preset menu options streamline your heating with the following choices: popcorn, potato, frozen vegetable, beverage, dinner plate, and pizza.

**Q: How does the Multi-Stage Cooking Function work?**
A: In multi-stage cooking, if one stage is defrosting, then defrosting shall be placed at the first stage automatically. For example, you can cook with 80% microwave power for 5 minutes + 60% microwave power for 10 minutes.

**Q: What can I not put into the microwave?**
A: For your safety, do not put the following into the microwave oven: glass jars and bottles, paper bags, Styrofoam plates and cups, plastic storage and food containers, metal utensils, parchment paper, wood, aluminum trays, take-out containers

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Happy
*by L***A on July 12, 2026*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice & Shiny
*by D***R on March 20, 2026*

Sleek and pretty. Fits the space and worked on each setting. The only issue is reading the settings.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous Microwave, Hard to Read Buttons
*by J***H on March 7, 2024*

This is the loveliest microwave I’ve ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous, however, the buttons were very difficult to read and not high enough contrast to the mirror finish. Our lighting did create a shadow, but we don’t have that Calle eve with the one we have now. The buttons would have benefitted with light behind them. And, in its compact size, it had far less power than we were used to, causing plates to get hot for the extended amount of time needed to microwave while the food was just warmed / not fully reheated. Power is something to consider when being compact, as most microwave meals even list instructions for 1000W microwaves, rendering their instructions useless in this case. Was beautiful and compact, but sadly not powerful enough.
