Almost any sort of liquid beyond water leaves a very visible mark, and the black spots woven between all of the beige do nothing to hide them. While they are supposedly washer safe, if you're cooking for a group, be prepared to have some pretty ugly rugs once everyone comes over. Some people obviously won't care about that, but if you do, well, now ya know.Otherwise, they're definitely comfy and hold their place on the (wood) floor relatively well.
