Samsung S Action Bluetooth Mouse for Android & Windows PCs / Tablets - Black

I ended up returning it. I don't know if this is a problem because it's a high DPI mouse, but the cursor just moves too fast for me, and if I adjust it in Window's mouse settings, then the built in touchpad in my laptop is far too slow. I guess this would be fine if you are on a desktop. It's also a little small for my hands.

Nice and small mouse, paired with the tablet absolutely effortlessly - even a non-technical person (my kid) did it without hassle. The mouse is very responsive, and works great with the tablet (Samsung Galaxy 10.1, older version).

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S, so I decided to give this mouse a try, especially with the sale price. I know mouse usually isn't necessary for a tablet, but I'm absolutely GLAD and have NO REGRETS of buying this.Having this mouse actually makes using the tablet way more productive!- Pressing the button the on the left side will immediately bring up the RECENT APPs window- Pressing the center scroll wheel will take you right to your HOME screen. You can use the scroll wheel to scroll between your home screens.- Right clicking on the mouse functions as the BACK function- HOLDING on the right click will bring up the MULTI-window function.- The Blue Trace feature allows this to work nicely on any surface.- The mouse has the similar faux leather plastic on the side like on the back of the Galaxy Notes.- The mouse is small/notebook size, so if you have big hands and like large mice, it may not be for you.Overall, I think the mouse looks quite sexy and nice. I use this mouse in my car and it makes navigating much faster than reaching out with my fingers, especially with those shortcut buttons.It looks like the price lowered on this without any sale. For the current price, it's DEFINITELY worth it. Bluetooth mouse without having to stick any dongles and the quality/feature at this price is fantastic. I own a lot of mice and I'm very happy with this.

This review is for how this mouse works with non-Samgsung devices. This is my 4th BT mouse now and it's now my go to mouse if I only want to travel with one mouse. It's size makes it much more portable than the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse (H3S-00003) it replaces, though, at a cost to ergonomics. Also the manual states that it's buttons can do several special actions in Android 4.4+, but apparently these only work with select Samsung devices. It doesn't specify which ones and I don't have one anyway (maybe some day).These S actions are described below:1) S Action button on the side - click opens list of recent apps, click-hold opens list of option avail for current screen.2) Scroll wheel - click to return to Home screen, click-hold to launch Google search, double-click to launch S Voice.3) Right mouse button - click-hold to open Multi Window.Without a compatible device the mouse will only work as a basic 3-button scroll mouse. Even the side button will not work as a back button in web pages like regular mice. Not a huge deal since the couple Microsoft mice I own have a back button so hard to reach that I've stopped trying to use it. I've tried connecting this with my laptops and tablets and the process was smooth and easy. What's good about this mouse is that it works with my Le Pan 10'' 1.8GHz Quad Core Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Tablet PC, 2560 X 1600 IPS, Dual Camera, Google Play Pre-loaded, 3D-Game Supported,9300 mAh Lithium battery that's stuck on Android 4.2. My Connectland CL-MOU23014 Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse and HDE Slim Bluetooth 3.0 Wireless Optical Mouse w/ Adjustable DPI (Black) both would not connect with the LePan, but worked fine on my laptops and Android 4.4+ devices. Before getting the Samsung, only my MS Sculpt worked with all my devices. I was really hoping my Connectland would work since it's the most comfortable of the travel sized mice and also has nicely placed forward and back buttons and adjustable DPI. The Connectland is two years old now and perhaps newer revisions have fixed this. Compared to the Samsung, the Samsung definitely feels cheaper; it's all smooth plastic (including the fake leather texture on the side), and it's only slightly lower shape makes it much less comfortable to use.Pros:- Works with Android 4.2- Travel-friendly- Single button to connectCons:- With any non-Samsung devices, it only works as a basic 3-button scroll mouse- Not as ergonomic as other travel mice- Fixed DPI- Cheap feeling constructionAll in all, I still like it, but mainly because it works with Android 4.2 and is more travel-friendly than the MS Sculpt.Edit 2014-09-21I just noticed that Samsung makes a S Action mouse that officially supports Windows here: Samsung S Action Bluetooth Mouse - Ash Black (AA-SM8PWBB/US), The price is comparable to this model, so if you need it specifically for Windows that one may be a better choice. I'm still happy with this one since I was able to get it with a coupon bringing it down to a very reasonable price.

The mouse is everything you expect a mouse to be like. It is very responsive and had absolutely no issues connecting with my Apple laptop. The mouse has the right amount of weight and size to make it comfortable and feel like a quality product. Keep in mind that they do provide a battery, which is always a plus (runs on 1AA). There's a faux leather lining along the lateral sides of the mouse; I personally find it a nice addition. Overall, very happy with my purchase especially for the price and shipping time although the box was slightly damaged. I would recommend this item to everyone.

Love this mouse! Easy to use, very high accuracy and long battery life. I usually leave the mouse on even when I'm not using it and I haven had to replace the battery once yet. It is very easy to replace, the bottom pops off and you can swap in a AA battery quite easily. Its connects via Bluetooth to my laptop pretty quickly as well.Its also a beautiful peace of hardware and the matches My ATIVbook 9 plus.Would Highly recommend it to anyone that wants a simple Bluetooth mouse that just works and looks great!Pro: Compact, Stable, SimpleCons: Might be a tad bit too small for those with larger hands.

Very poor customer support from Samsung on connecting with a laptop. It does work and after some help from outside sources, I realized I had to update the bluetooth driver on the pc, unfortunately Samsung customer service, had a return to vendor solution, instead of trying to troubleshoot the issue.

This is comfortable to use, and works well with both my tablet and laptop (not at the same time, of course). I haven't had it long enough to pass judgement on battery life.
