Hi Sue, great question! The chest strap is adjustable. If you check the shoulder strap, there is a flap that the chest strap feeds into. Fold the flap back and it will review a couple of different heights you can adjust it to. To adjust, unbutton the strap and loop it to your desired height. Hope this helps!
