I also confirm the battery issues *by D***Y on April 16, 2018* I purchased all the available Ditty Bird books for our 1 year old grandson. He crawls across the room to the "book bin" and crawls back holding one of the Ditty Bird books. They're his favorites. I think there are a couple more coming out in August. I highly recommend them. I also confirm the battery issues. I ordered replacement batteries through Amazon (Maxell), but they also died quickly. I contacted the book seller/creator and they recommended another brand of battery. I have those on order now. The books should last about 20 hours of playing time, according to the seller. Ours did not get that much time. The batteries are difficult to find at the store, but easy to find on Amazon. It's easy, even for a one year old, to push the button to hear the song or the sound on each page of the book. A wonderful purchase for a very happy grandson. Also, the seller/publisher was VERY responsive. I received an email the very next day in response to my concerned email. I had found the email address on another review of the books which mentioned the battery issue.
