She can sit on the bike without putting her legs down and it will balance. She pushes off with her legs and steers with her hands. The seat is adjustable up and down. Very sturdy. Comes with easy to understand instructions. Simple to put together. I love the light blue color. Super easy to wipe down. Great value for money and will last a long time!
